  • Classically, once again, the quality of Corsair is impressive. Personally, I found it convenient that it had the connections on the side, making cable management more efficient.

  • I bought it to replace an older corsair psu that was quite noisy for my taste and endurance, as my pc is on the desk. I had noticed that the psu was the loudest component, even though I had spent a lot of money on expensive case fans and a good liquid cooling system. After the change, the pc is noticeably quieter. Measuring it with an app, while before in idle I had min 29-30 db at a distance of 70 cm, now I have 24-25 db (the fan doesn't rotate at low loads, so I can hear the rest of the pc). This small apparent difference is actually significant and for me, it alone is a reason to buy. But even in gaming, where it spins, I can say that it is barely audible. The cables come out from the side and not from the back, it is the innovation of the model, but they seemed quite rigid to me. In the corsair 4000d I can't say that they don't fit, they do fit, but one of them touches the side cover quite a bit. Needless to say, I have run various stress tests, I did not encounter any problems.
