Petzl Descender Rig

The RIG descender is a compact automatic braking descender, designed for experienced rope access workers. It features an ergonomic handle that allows for comfortable control during descent. The AUTO-LOCK system enables users to easily position themselves at the work station without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device. Once locked, the rope can be lifted without needing to handle the handle. The safety gate allows for the rope to be positioned while the device remains connected to the harness, facilitating passage through intermediate anchor points. The stainless steel reinforcement enhances durability by strengthening the rope's friction zone.
