192 kHz Digital USB Sound Card with AES/SPDIF/ADAT/Analog I/O

The Digiface AES is a professional bus-powered USB 2.0 sound card with 14 inputs and 16 output channels. It features:

  • 2 general-purpose analog input channels Mic/Line
  • 4 analog output channels (2 XLR, one phone TRS)
  • Digital I/O section
  • SteadyClock FS
  • Built-in parametric EQ

The Digiface AES offers flexible playback/monitoring through TotalMix FX, minimizing power requirements with bus power compatibility.

The main inputs use Babyface Pro FS microphone/line preamps with:

  • 48 V phantom power
  • 75 dB gain range, adjustable in 1 dB steps
  • Relay-driven PAD
  • Excellent EIN (Equivalent Input Noise) performance
  • Overload protection line

At the back of the Digiface AES, there are 2 balanced analog outputs via XLR for power amplifiers or active monitor speakers. The headphone output allows for high-quality monitoring.

Includes ADAT, SPDIF, AES - a set of digital I/Os with flexible connectivity. An integrated SRC (Sample Rate Converter) allows adaptation to other sample rates, providing automatic synchronized operation.

The MIDI I/O via breakout cable completes the package.

The device features:

  • Direct access and control of all functions
  • High-resolution color display
  • Good menu structure for quick changes
  • Six different settings that can be stored

TotalMix FX includes fully independent routing and mixing of input and playback channels to all physical outputs. TotalMix Remote allows remote control via iOS, PC, or Mac.
