Read an excerpt

Fill three quarters of the larger container with cold tap water. Fill the smaller container with hot tap water. Place the small stone at the bottom of the smaller container as a weight. Add a few drops of liquid food coloring to the smaller container and stir with the stick. (You can use any color you like, but if you mix red and yellow, you will make orange – the color of lava!) Gently place the smaller container inside the larger one and let it sink to the bottom. Watch the orange lava pour from the smaller container into the larger one. See how the orange lava stays at the top of the larger container and does not sink to the bottom.

There are much better and cheaper books that explain the phenomena and ignite children's imagination
