PUBLIC DEBT - BANKRUPTCIES CORRUPTION - KLEPTOCRACY DEMOGRAPHIC DRAMA INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY BRICS - USA - EU COMPETITIVENESS – DEVELOPMENT BANKRUPTCY 2009 - MEMORANDA REGRESSION - DECLINE ILLEGAL SHADOW ECONOMY GLOBAL GEOPOLITICS EURO - DOLLAR NATIONAL ECONOMIC POLICY The book includes eleven sections in which the past, present, and future of the Greek economy are commented on. In the individual parts of the book, vital issues are analyzed, such as the bankruptcies of the modern Greek state, the bankruptcy of 2009, and the commitment of Greek society to unprincipled memorandum economic policies, the drama of our demographic problem, the twin deficits, the nomenclature of the haves and have-nots, extensive illegal shadow economic activities, tax evasion and the unfair distribution of tax burdens, corruption in public life, the entry of illegal immigrants into Greek territory, charlatanism in the exercise of governmental economic policy, the Mithridatism of Greek society, non-performing loans and the failure of the Hercules program, the collapse of the competitiveness of the Greek economy, etc. Greece is among the 193 countries of the UN. The UN countries form the backbone of the international economy. Developments in the global economy and geopolitics directly affect the Greek political-economic scene. Therefore, in various parts of this work, essential issues of the international economy and global geopolitics are explored, which largely determine the trends and prospects of our national economy. The military conflict between Russia and Ukraine-NATO, the powerful geopolitical coalition of BRICS, the international movement of capital for direct investments, the triggering of inflation in the international economy, the change in interest rates by the American Fed and the European Central Bank, fluctuations in energy resource prices, the enormous size of global public debt, etc., constitute factors that directly or indirectly influence the developments of the Greek economy. In the last section of the book, groundbreaking proposals and effective economic policy measures are proposed to achieve significant developmental performance, the rehabilitation of Public Finances, and the achievement of the primary goal of the sustainability of Greece's public debt.
