The API Quick Start 118ml contains nitrifying bacteria that allow for the immediate addition of fish. Using it starts the 0 natural cycle of the aquarium immediately. The beneficial bacteria it contains convert toxic ammonia into nitrites and then into harmless nitrates to prevent fish loss in your aquarium.

Suitable for use when starting a new aquarium, after water changes and filter changes, and when adding new fish to an existing aquarium.
