This review is about the network version: v1

It made things so much easier for me, after many problems with the internet and in an area with very bad signal, from a 300 Mbps line I have it barely reached 50, now it easily reaches 250.

Before this, I had the classic Vodafone modem-router and I experienced daily disconnections. Since I installed this Tp-link, the disconnections have almost been eliminated. It has plenty of settings (which I have barely dealt with so far) but despite its four antennas, I did not notice any significant difference in range compared to the Vodafone one. The speed it provides is also excellent, but the most important thing for me is the stability of the device. Now I only use the Vodafone one as a modem.

Can someone answer about this specific router, is there an option to disable the VPN or is it permanently enabled without an option?

Very good and reliable.. it has easy mesh https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=73&v=HsnYVUUd0DA&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tp-link.com%2F&themeRefresh=1 Also, you leave the provider's router as it is connected and just add the commercial router... simply disable the wifi and from the provider's ethernet you connect it to the commercial router... it's that simple. It has faster RAM and processing and it has security firmware updates... it also has very nice parental control... it can block devices we want... even by content, even 'bedtime' for each device... for children, it's worth it for those who have kids from middle school and up

From 30-40 to 75 Mbps !!!!!!!! I wanted it for work, using a private network. Installation was very simple. The price at 66 euros, I don't know if there is anything cheaper on the market, seems fair.

This review is about the network version: v1

Excellent, it worked flawlessly with OTE's Speedport (VDSL) in bridge mode and PPPoE credentials + NordVPN. The TP Link interface for this specific router has the ability for very easy, direct connection to NordVPN without requiring manual integration with OpenVPN or Wireguard.

WARNING I am referring to v1! There is a possibility that in v2 there may not be firmware available for a ready-to-use VPN client (I do not know)

I got it exclusively for PCVR in combination with the Quest 3. For its price, it is very, very good. I mean, at this price, I would say don't look elsewhere. I'm always talking about PCVR and Quest 3. There were some issues with the Quest and the Tplink, but the two companies solved them together!

For simple home use, it is very good. Capable of managing many devices wirelessly as I have connected all the smart bulbs, TVs, consoles, and generally everything to it. My PC also wirelessly at a distance of about 4-5 meters with 2 walls in between and it gets the full speed of the connection without any problem. I only faced an issue with the work MacBook which seems that to connect reliably it needs to be close to the router without obstacles in between. Also, the app is very user-friendly.
