It functions as part of an automated water leak prevention system when LeaksProtect is activated or a third-party water leak detector is used. The user can change the WaterStop status from anywhere, with a Hub, an internet connection, and the Ajax app.

Additionally, creating scenarios allows for minimizing routine actions and automatically shutting off the water. Scenarios can be used to control the water supply in the following cases:

• With an alarm, in case of a LeaksProtect leak detector alarm.
• With a schedule to turn off the water at a specific time.
• With a security status change of the system when arming or disarming.
• By pressing the wireless LightSwitch.
• By pressing the button for manual water shutdown in case of emergency.
• Based on temperature, to shut off the water supply to the heating pipes during winter.
