The screen for the money it costs now is a golden opportunity. In 2023 when I got it, it was the number 1 screen on Rtings.com regarding gaming OLEDs. Check out its technical specifications there (they are amazing). Number 1 in terms of quality/price ratio.
I highly recommend it, guys. 165 Hz is more than enough for its resolution at 3440x1440.
Negatives are that the warranty doesn't cover you if up to 5 pixels are burnt out. It requires a refresh every 4 hours of continuous operation that lasts 6-8 minutes. It has a 3-year warranty. And because it has a glossy panel, if you have a window opposite the screen, it will cause glare. Some issues it had with the dark stabilizer (it showed a faint line in the center) were fixed with a firmware update. That's it.
I don't use it for HDR, so I can't tell you about that.

I've had it for 2 days now
amazing monitor with incredible colors
after a lot of research I saw that the DWF is a better model than the DW
why?
1) the DWF allows firmware updates
2) it has better colors (0.9 > 0.7)
3) it is a newer model
the gsync ultimate that the DW has only differs in HDR, which we will never really notice. Also, the DWF is gsync compatible even if it's not mentioned, you will never see any flickering
Negative: if I didn't have a very deep desk I would have a problem, it has a large distance from the wall...
I wish it was set further back.
and let's hope we won't have burn-in!

μετα από πολύ ψάξιμο είδα ότι το DWF είναι καλλίτερο μοντέλο από το DW
γιατί?
1) το DWF κάνει firmware Update
2) έχει καλύτερα χρώματα (0.9 > 0.7)
3) είναι νεότερο μοντέλο
το gsync ultimate Που έχει η DW δεν διαφέρει παρα μόνο στο HDR το οποίο δεν πρόκειται να το προσέξουμε ποτέ. καθώς και η DWF είναι gsync compatible και ας μην το αναφέρει, δεν πρόκειται να δείτε ποτέ τρεμοπαιγμα
Αρνητικό: αν δεν είχα πολύ βαθύ γραφείο θα είχα πρόβλημα έχει μεγάλη απόσταση από τον τοίχο...
θα ήθελα να ήταν ποιο μέσα.
και ας ελπισουμε δεν θα εχουμε burn-in!

In this budget, it should have been at least 4K for these inches...coming from a 4K monitor of almost the same size, the difference in resolution was quite noticeable as soon as I placed it...also, the text, due to the OLED technology and not so much the resolution, is not clear with a soft display and color distortion...so it may not be recommended for image editing, etc...maybe this bothers a little in everyday use for browsing and office programs...otherwise, it is a nice fast gaming OLED monitor

The screen for the money it costs now is a golden opportunity. In 2023 when I got it, it was the number 1 screen on Rtings.com regarding gaming OLEDs. Check out its technical specifications there (they are amazing). Number 1 in terms of quality/price ratio.
I highly recommend it, guys. 165 Hz is more than enough for its resolution at 3440x1440.
Negatives are that the warranty doesn't cover you if up to 5 pixels are burnt out. It requires a refresh every 4 hours of continuous operation that lasts 6-8 minutes. It has a 3-year warranty. And because it has a glossy panel, if you have a window opposite the screen, it will cause glare. Some issues it had with the dark stabilizer (it showed a faint line in the center) were fixed with a firmware update. That's it.
I don't use it for HDR, so I can't tell you about that.

Την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα παιδιά. 165 Hz που τρέχει είναι υπέρ αρκετά για την ανάλυση της στα 3440x1440.
Αρνητικά είναι ότι δεν σε καλύπτει η εγγύηση αν είναι μέχρι 5 pixel καμμένα. Θέλει κάθε 4 ώρες συνεχούς λειτουργίας ένα refresh που κρατάει 6-8 λεπτά. Έχει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση. Και επειδή έχει glossy panel άμα έχετε παράθυρο απέναντι από την οθόνη θα σας κάνει glare. Κάτι θεματακια που έιχε με το dark stabilizer (έβγαζε μια άχνη γραμμή στο κέντρο) φτιάχτηκε με firmware update. Αυτά.
Για HDR δεν την χρησιμοποιώ οπότε δεν ξέρω να σας πω.

The best screen you can buy right now for 1000€ and better than some more expensive ones. It may not have a high refresh rate, but it has amazing color coverage and comes factory calibrated for those who don't have the ability to calibrate it themselves

I've had it for 2 days now
amazing monitor with incredible colors
after a lot of research I saw that the DWF is a better model than the DW
why?
1) the DWF allows firmware updates
2) it has better colors (0.9 > 0.7)
3) it is a newer model
the gsync ultimate that the DW has only differs in HDR, which we will never really notice. Also, the DWF is gsync compatible even if it's not mentioned, you will never see any flickering
Negative: if I didn't have a very deep desk I would have a problem, it has a large distance from the wall...
I wish it was set further back.
and let's hope we won't have burn-in!

μετα από πολύ ψάξιμο είδα ότι το DWF είναι καλλίτερο μοντέλο από το DW
γιατί?
1) το DWF κάνει firmware Update
2) έχει καλύτερα χρώματα (0.9 > 0.7)
3) είναι νεότερο μοντέλο
το gsync ultimate Που έχει η DW δεν διαφέρει παρα μόνο στο HDR το οποίο δεν πρόκειται να το προσέξουμε ποτέ. καθώς και η DWF είναι gsync compatible και ας μην το αναφέρει, δεν πρόκειται να δείτε ποτέ τρεμοπαιγμα
Αρνητικό: αν δεν είχα πολύ βαθύ γραφείο θα είχα πρόβλημα έχει μεγάλη απόσταση από τον τοίχο...
θα ήθελα να ήταν ποιο μέσα.
και ας ελπισουμε δεν θα εχουμε burn-in!

την εχω 2.5 χρόνια , ειναι αψογη και κανενα burn-in, την εβαλα σε βαση στον τοιχο για να κερδισω 3-4cm βαθος
In this budget, it should have been at least 4K for these inches...coming from a 4K monitor of almost the same size, the difference in resolution was quite noticeable as soon as I placed it...also, the text, due to the OLED technology and not so much the resolution, is not clear with a soft display and color distortion...so it may not be recommended for image editing, etc...maybe this bothers a little in everyday use for browsing and office programs...otherwise, it is a nice fast gaming OLED monitor

With the recent price drop, it is an option I would not pass up. First of all, it is an OLED panel which offers excellent, contrast. Regarding colors, for SDR we have 149% sRGB and for HDR we have about 77% rec2020, which is more than enough for HDR content. Also, in terms of brightness, we have 231 nits at 100% window, which is sufficient but cannot be compared to mini LEDs in this area; for peak brightness, we have around 1009 nits, and compared to mini LEDs, this is relatively low, but we avoid problems that local dimming could cause. If the screen is placed in a space with many light sources, e.g. a window, it will reflect a red hue that will completely ruin the contrast. If someone wants to place it in such conditions, LG's suggestions are better. In general, the built-in software is quite good and the construction easily justifies the money it costs. The response time of 0.1ms is unparalleled, which is expected (due to the panel). Another major issue with OLED panels is
burn-in; of course, someone who buys this screen will use it for gaming and not for productivity, so there is not such a high chance of static content appearing to a degree that could cause issues on the screen.
