Description

Description

The Great Western Trail: Argentina board game by Eggert Spiele is a strategy game in which players cross the Pampas plains with their herds, aiming to deliver them to Buenos Aires Central Station. Deck management, the rondel mechanism, and player board upgrades are complemented by new action options and routes.

Farmers are a new type of worker, while wheat is added as a new resource and used for ships and city tiles. Shortcuts can speed up herd deliveries, at the cost of losing access to action buildings, while city port tiles provide bonuses. A solo challenge is also included, in which players try to beat Pedro’s score.

Very interesting game with complex mechanisms and many ways to earn victory points. The first game we played with 3 people lasted 6 hours, the second 5. I don't think a game can last 3 hours as the game says.
