Description

Description

The Da Vinci Games The Great Train Robbery expansion for Bang! adds Railroad cards, Station tiles, and a Locomotive card. Each Railroad card is paired with a Station tile, while the train moves at the start of each Sheriff’s turn and the value of the Railroad cards changes according to the tiles. When the first Carriage behind the Locomotive passes the last Station, the Locomotive card’s special effect is activated for all players.

Once during their turn, each player may pay the cost shown at a Station to take the corresponding Carriage. Carriages with a blue border have an immediate effect and remain in play until discarded, while those with a green border remain in play without an effect until their owner discards them during their turn. When someone takes a Carriage, the others move forward to fill the gap, and a new one is added to the end of the train. After the Locomotive is activated, a new line is created with 5 Station tiles, and a new train is placed in the center of the table.

Very nice extension, I ended up with this one after searching for a BANG extension. The train and the possibilities that the wagons and stops have caught my interest. The group approves it a lot, we don't play without it.

One of the good expansions of Bang. Much superior to Gold Rush/Armed & Dangerous.
The train introduces a very interesting setting since in each round, each player has the ability to take wagons from the train (it functions like a shop where you buy wagon cards)
