In general, I am looking for cleansers with few and natural ingredients... and since my skin doesn't tolerate solid soaps, I decided to try A-Derma. I haven't found a better facial cleanser than this, in all the years I've had acne. It cleans deeply, doesn't dry out the skin, and if you apply a moisturizer after washing, it makes your face smooth and soft the next morning. I truly recommend it as someone who has acne-prone skin, sensitivities, and combination to oily skin.

I have tried several cleansers and this is the only one that doesn't make me feel like my face is "tight" after cleansing. Even other cleansers that have better reviews and are gentle, dried out my face. I feel my face is very clean and hydrated.

It dries the skin a bit, but it's the only one so far that does not have comedogenic agents and does not irritate my skin. Clearly needs to be paired with a moisturizer after use.

I am very satisfied, both myself being 54 with oily skin and my son being 21 with acne problems. I feel my face very clean and my skin has a nice feeling after I wash it off.

I don't know what the rest of you are saying, but personally, this product works for me. Being someone with acne, it deeply cleanses any pimples and I think it does the job! On the downside, I agree that it requires a considerable amount to produce lather

Changed formula. I used to buy it constantly because it was an excellent soap. Now with the new formula, it's like water, it doesn't lather and I don't feel like it cleans my skin. I should have checked the comments that others had made.

Phys AC unfortunately became Biology AC. I was taking the first one for many years. The composition has changed, it requires a larger quantity, and with Phys AC my eyes were not irritated at all. I will buy it again because I have not found anything better, but I am not satisfied.

It takes double the amount to clean the face, bad smell like spoiled soap. I wouldn't buy it again, it doesn't lather easily.

I accidentally bought this product as I have been buying the classic one for years. Absolutely no comparison. It requires a lot of product to clean the skin, and it sits on top of makeup. I have to wash my face multiple times to say that it's clean. The texture is terrible, as well as the scent. The only positive thing is that it doesn't sting the eyes.

Very nice and gentle cleansing gel, effectively cleanses, does not dry the skin at all. Just like with the previous formula, with the new one as well, the skin remains clean from any pimples.

I bought it as a replacement for PhysAC.
It is very watery and its pump literally shoots the product on you if you're not careful.
It also smells bad and most importantly, it doesn't clean properly.
PhysAC even removes makeup, while this one just creates foam, resulting in all the makeup staying on the face and requiring almost triple the amount for a proper cleansing.

I bought it as the new version of the phys-ac gel from the same company that I had been using for years and I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, I didn't like this new product. It is much more watery, like melted aloe, so it doesn't foam much unless you use a large amount on your hands and rub it a lot. It also has a strange scent that personally I didn't like. Not only would I not buy it again, but I won't even finish the bottle that I bought.
