The attitude towards death, religiosity in general, demographic phenomena, etc., leads us to pose yet another question: to what extent were mindsets and behaviors affected during 1821, whether new sensitivities emerged, whether the image of a different world was formed in contrast to the vision of salvation imposed by the church, and how the Revolution is perceived and experienced depending on the regions and social groups.
And on the level of everyday life, it is also worth investigating how the various problems brought forth by the revolutionary process are addressed, often violently, under new negotiation: the different sense of space and time, particularly due to the great mobility of people and ideas; the changes in clothing, weaponry, entertainment, nutrition, housing, and generally in ostentatious models; the desire for immediate joy and pleasure, combined with the sense or fear of impending death.
Who ultimately is the revolutionary 'Greek'? A coherent answer is still not easy to provide. However, some elements that have been scattered throughout indicate that this research field will not operate in a vacuum and that the dynamics of the Revolution left, to a greater or lesser extent, its deeper imprint on all who participated in it, both renowned and unknown.
