Description & Specifications

The current political stance of Putin's Russia is a result of the imperial-Eurasian policy it follows. Indeed, the only way for Russia to maintain its position as an imperial power is to use its military forces to expand, its energy resources to coerce, and a media guerrilla warfare to undermine its opponents.

A strategy that leads either to involvement in a major or more regional wars, as happened in Ukraine, or to the collapse of the regime, or both. This policy could only come to an end with the acknowledgment of the fact that the Empire has ended and that the country must self-recognize as a European nation-state (as Navalny emphasizes), and earn its integration into a unified European system through its political actions, both external and internal.

On the contrary, the current path is literally suicidal and will prove fatal, just like under Brezhnev for the Soviet Union. Reconnection with Europe would not only reduce the risks of military flare-ups but also eliminate a "return" to the "Mongolian past," in the interest of Europe, and Greece in particular.

Greece's desire remains the unification of Europe (including Russia) and not Russia's turn towards Islam and China (characteristic is Dugin's shift, from the alliance between Russians and Greek Orthodox to the alliance of Russian Orthodoxy with Turkish Islam).

However, after the invasion of Ukraine, such a prospect now requires a radical change of leadership in Russia and the abandonment of Eurasianism. Only a new leadership, aimed at transforming Russia into a nation-state and abandoning imperial fantasies, could liberate Russia from the Eurasian strategy. Only then would Russia be able to change its strategy towards Greece and Turkey.
