Thanks to its design and structure, this dictionary renders colloquial phrases in both languages based on the context of their usage. The main goal is to help Greeks become familiar with a Bulgarian environment. The cultural and economic relations between the two peoples have recently developed significantly, which also leads to the strengthening of their linguistic contacts.
Colloquial speech is the most dynamic part of a language's vocabulary composition. This requires compliance, depending on the case, and the choice of expression in the course of speech. Expressive means, phraseology, semantic nuances, metaphors, and familiar expressions give life and meaning to the articulation of phrases. Stylistic elements of the vernacular and familiar language are also of great importance, which, thanks to their plasticity, easily pass from one language to another.
The dictionary consists of approximately 2680 word phrases, and its structure includes combinations and expressions characteristic of both languages but of different styles. It also includes the most frequently used words and phrases with their typical emotional-expressive nuances.
Bulgarian words and phrases are directly translated into Greek for correct pronunciation by Greek speakers.
