Its functions are controlled by the remote: in automatic mode, it stays at 30% brightness and switches to full brightness when it detects an object, while in Always Mode it operates continuously at full brightness. The 2+χ and 3+χ buttons can be used to set it to switch to Radar mode after 2 or 3 hours of operation at full brightness.
