    The product itself is not bad but it has very minimal support with home assistant or other third party apps, the only official way to connect it to home assistant is using ble which is good when it works but most of the time it has problems due to distance, the "wifi" part of it is only for the govee app and u can't connect it to home assistant with wifi, you will need to setup goveemqtt (3rd part script of github) which sends app requests to the govee server (you have limited app calls) to get the temp and humidity and this is even worse than ble for me, it's has frequent outages and has a major delay. It's a good product if u plan to keep it near ur home assistant server device or you need no automation or have only govee devices

    It keeps disconnecting from Wifi, and Bluetooth only works from close by. If you have it in the same room, you probably won't have an issue. Eventually, I put a WiFi Extender near it and thought I was done with the problem... but it still keeps losing connection. Nonexistent support; when I asked a question through the support field in the App, I got the reply: Go to the retailer...

    On the positive side, the measurements are quite accurate, and as a bonus, the app also calculates VPD values in a graph! In general, the App is good at presenting the data, compared to others that companies have released lately. In terms of speed and stability, it's terrible.

    Update 5.9.2025: I didn't need it since the beginning of the year, didn't use the app or the thermometer for a few months, occasionally saw some updates coming, didn't pay attention. Now I needed it again and, lo and behold, I see the wifi constantly connected and the BT stuck on connected in the background... Now that's more like it! It works perfectly, you've earned more stars!
