This book is like a "small Triodion". It follows the order and arrangement of the days and feasts of the period covered by this section of the ecclesiastical year, exactly as they are contained in the book of the Triodion, and is based on the standard arrangement that is currently used in the liturgical practice of the Church.

Primarily, it includes texts, mainly Synaxaria, hymns, and readings, which are contained in this great book of the liturgical tradition of Orthodoxy. A guide to understanding and familiarizing oneself with the many important and valuable spiritual aspects that the Church offers us through its worship during the contemplative period of Great and Holy Lent.
