The Weiss DAC501 is a digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier, Roon Ready. It features analog and digital outputs (XLR and RCA). The DAC501 and DAC502 are our new D/A converters with a level of complexity and versatility. The DAC502 has a larger chassis but shares the same features as the DAC501, with the addition of 4 headphone jacks on the back of the unit.
The DAC50x introduces a new paradigm for D/A devices. It includes several interesting signal processing features and supports a variety of digital inputs. The outputs are analog, digital, and for headphones. Weiss Engineering has 30 years of history in designing D/A converters, and the DAC50x captures our experience.
