very good construction, but it cannot hold the microphone and the threads got damaged when tightening..... I should have invested more money but to tell the truth the microphone stand from IKEA for 9.99 is incredibly better compared to this one, I can't believe I'm saying this...

If you have a heavy microphone like I do (Scarlet Studio), it can't support it for any reason. It's only for very lightweight microphones like USB types.

Guys, the stand doesn't hold a professional microphone at all, but I guess for its price you shouldn't expect it to hold heavy microphones, only if you do some kind of modification

If you want to keep your mic in a single place and don't move it around then it's good. But if you move your mic around and especially if you have a mic a bit heavy (I have HyperX Quadcast) it won't be able to hold it, also you can't move it around easily you need to play with screws to let the arm hold it. Not worth get the 5€ ones which has the same functions but you can move them around easier.

It is 100% value for money, neither excellent nor "Chinese". So far, with the microphone stand I have, it works fine with a little tightening of the screws! It is worth it and it really is exactly as you see it!

The stand is really nice, the long pieces are aluminum although the connections at the points of rotation seem to be plastic, on the outside at least, but I believe it will hold up.

I'm using it with a 280 gram mic, the HyperX Quadcast S and it looks really nice although I wouldn't put a heavier mic on it as I am afraid I might over tighten the screws in the connections and cause damage.

For this price, it's a great choice and I don't believe other boom arms have enough to justify their higher price.

While it is good and beautiful in construction, do not get it if you have a heavy microphone. It will support it, but because it does not have springs, you will need to tighten the screws incredibly tight on the arm locks. It is decent for microphones up to 300 grams max. For the podmic I have, I will keep the arms solely as a temporary solution in case another one I purchased breaks.

Very good and sturdy construction. Even though I use a relatively heavy microphone, it lifts it with great ease. It is also quite elegant and convenient as the cables pass through it. I highly recommend it without hesitation!!
