These pickups emphasize the high and low frequencies while reducing the mids. Each pickup is based on an underwound 50's type set, with slightly higher pole height providing the scooped midrange.

Their construction with Alnico 5 contributes to incredible balance when using pedals and amplifiers with more emphasized mid frequencies.
