The Scooped Strat pickups are designed to cover the entire sound spectrum, from Texas vintage blues to the clean highs of pop rock. They emphasize the high and low frequencies while reducing the mids. Each pickup is based on a 50's underwound set with a slightly higher pole height, creating the scooped midrange. Made with Alnico 5, they provide incredible balance when using pedals and amplifiers with boosted mid frequencies.
