I don't know why the reviews say it has a good signal, etc., in my case it doesn't even reach the next room, let alone the downstairs floor where I wanted it.
I tried it on both Windows and Linux with the same terrible results.
Compared to a similar Level One adapter I had bought a decade ago, it has much better performance, but still not enough, which is why I bought this one to test.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be worse than the one I already had.

Very good, from 8Mbps to 70Mbps on a 300Mbps line with a corridor distance and placed at the back of the room (router in the hallway). In my case it's the only option, since the powerline was only giving 12Mbps.

Very clever move by the company to name it 650 and "trick" potential customers like me, while its speed is 433. On the other hand, for its price it's just fine, it maxes out at 433 wifi speed and works steadily. To get the job done, it's sufficient. It works in a difficult spot, with moderate speeds. Works on Arch Linux via rtl8821cu drivers, available in the AUR.

You plug it into the computer and you have wifi without any setup and without disconnections. I recommend it compared to other branded ones that have issues.

I've bought a ton of tplink products and for a year I struggled, with disconnections, slow internet, even at distances of 3 meters without even a wall, etc. After suffering, I bought this one because of the price and thought, whatever happens, it's not much money. I've had it for 3 months and I've come to one conclusion..... NEVER AGAIN TPLINK. So far, I haven't had a single disconnection, it does everything super easily, gaming, streaming, everything! And it's a tiny little thing, you know, that you wouldn't expect much from, yet it easily outperformed big brands with "external antennas for better range"...... some brands may have been good once, but now they just rely on the name they built back then to charge more and sell you junk in 2025.... Get it, and if you think your money is wasted, at least it's equivalent to 2 coffees
