I bought it because of good reviews but unfortunately it's a dud........It doesn't stick and obviously can't hold the weight of the phone.

It doesn't hold at all. On a cleaned windshield with clean alcohol, as soon as I turned on the heater in the car, the base kept falling off, let alone in the summer with the sun hitting. No matter how much I tried to adjust it and shorten the extension so that it wouldn't bear the weight, I opened it and closed it again pressing the suction cup well, but it wouldn't hold at all. Also, it doesn't close in the center. Every time I placed the phone, depending on which ear it closed first, the phone would lock sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right, and never in the center.
