One hundred years later, we must not forget. The content of this edition is a tribute to the families that made up the human resources of the Greek community in the city of Kotyaion - Kiutahya in Asia Minor, one of the most important cities in the region of ancient Phrygia. It is a tribute to the memory of those people who were forcibly displaced, who became refugees and who, for those who survived, had to start their lives anew.
Life seemed hard for them. They left their livelihoods in their ancestral homeland, Asia Minor, and came, decimated, to their new homeland, which was a vision for them and held a special place in their hearts, Greece. They struggled to be accepted, but they did not lose heart. Today, a decade later, their new breath of life brought to the land and their contribution to its evolution is now recognized.
Both they and their descendants deposit here their memories, along with abundant photographic material, as a memorial for those who are no longer with us.
