The software of the Cyrix-ct 12/24V goes beyond simple voltage-based switching. It monitors the battery’s overall voltage and prevents unwanted disconnection caused by a momentary drop under heavy load. It also stands out for its ability to provide almost zero voltage loss. This means you don’t need to adjust or increase the output voltage of your alternator or charger, ensuring the highest possible efficiency for your system.
The Victron Cyrix-ct 12/24V-230A battery isolator is a high-performance microprocessor-controlled relay, ideal for automatically connecting and disconnecting batteries in parallel. It is the perfect alternative to traditional isolation diodes, providing reliable power management for boats and vehicles.
Smart Monitoring & Zero Loss

Bidirectional Detection & Charging Priority
The device measures the voltage of both connected batteries thanks to bidirectional voltage sensing. In practice, this means it will also activate if the auxiliary battery is charged exclusively by its own charger. In a typical installation, the starter battery always has charging priority. Once the system detects that the desired voltage has been reached, it closes the circuit to allow the auxiliary batteries to be charged safely in parallel.
Start Assist for Emergencies & LED Lights
One of the most useful features is the ability to manually connect the batteries in parallel (Start Assist). If the starter battery runs flat, you can connect the batteries with a switch for 30 seconds to start your engine. The 230A model also features an LED status indicator that instantly informs you of the current status (connected, disconnected, or overtemperature/overvoltage alarm), giving you complete control at a glance.
