This manual emerged from the initiative of the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA). It is an epitome of the book "On Private Security. Attempting a holistic approach...", which was created by a group of researchers and collaborators who tried to capture, as much as possible, the complex, dynamic, and ever-changing professional environment of the Private Security Services sector and Private Security Personnel.
The manual contains educational material aimed at assisting the training process for anyone wishing to work as a professional in the field of Private Security through professional education, training, and certification processes as provided by the current legislation. Furthermore, it is addressed to all professionals in the Private Security sector, aspiring to be a valuable tool for their education, continuous professional training, ongoing education, and the exercise of their duties.
It includes a series of eleven (11) chapters, which attempt to briefly cover the field of activity of Private Security services in Greece, while further, it can serve as a useful guide in the exercise of their basic duties.
