The edible colors from Squires Kitchen are specially designed for pastry chefs and confectioners. They mix together very easily, allowing you to create the shades you desire.
They are ideal for coloring:
Add a few drops of color at a time until you achieve the shade you want. You can color directly on sugar plates to create a watercolor effect, and you can also use them with an airbrush. Finally, you can add liquid color to the water when boiling eggs to dye them a beautiful pastel shade.
For every 500g of mixture/decorating, add 8 to 10 drops of liquid color. More can be used in a specific area, but less should be used elsewhere to maintain the average.
