Sangean has been manufacturing it for years, a compact construction with a properly positioned good antenna that hides closed inside the body of the radio. It is a design that combines a PLL and DSP receiver, which provides accuracy on FM, but on medium wave the smooth frequency search is lost, because it searches in steps. The annoying pop in the medium wave exists, but not like in the unacceptably poorly designed SR-36 (the newer model). However, its overall charm is its sweet and mild sound, full for its size, which suggests perhaps even a larger radio in volume. It lacks in final volume, but wins in sound quality with a measured performance of mid frequencies for speech and music listening that does not tire. The global industry is gradually stopping the design and production of radios and is focusing on streaming and digital audio services, which are the new medium for music and information. Sangean, however, still continues to produce radios and with models that combine the old and the new. As for this particular model, you have to listen to the 150mw audio output it delivers, as well as with headphones, to understand why I sat down to write all this. This SR-35 from Sangean is one of the top portable radios. I would recommend it for FM, but it also picks up AM, which I don't often listen to in Greece.
I wanted good sound and portability, not a tabletop one. It has satisfied me in both aspects.

Simply excellent. I highly recommend it. I have had it for 4 years without any problems. Excellent receiver, perfect speaker. Its use with rechargeable batteries makes it completely worry-free.
Απλά άριστο. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Το έχω 4 χρόνια, χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Άριστος δέκτης, τέλειο ηχείο. Η χρήση του με επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες το καθιστά εντελώς απροβλημάτιστο.
I also have a pocket BLAUPUNKT which I bought for 10 euros. Well, I also bought the Sangean SR-35! Everything is fine except for one thing, the reception. Terrible receiver. Specifically, I am in Porto Germeno, which is a difficult spot for radios, the BLAUPUNKT caught 3 stations clearly, while the Sangean SR-35 caught none! It disappointed me, frustrated me, unacceptable!!!! Terrible, I wonder about the reviews!

I have had it in my possession for about 2 months. Good signal, good sound but unfortunately another radio with low battery life. It needs new batteries (2 X AA) every week
Το έχω στην κατοχή μου περίπου 2 μηνες, Καλό σήμα, καλός ήχος αλλά δυστυχώς άλλο ένα Ραδιοφωνάκι με μικρή αυτονομία μπαταρίας. Κάθε βδομάδα θέλει καινούργιες μπαταρίες (2 Χ ΑΑ)
I bought it for the village, an area where only a few stations are available with other radios of the same category and brand. I wanted an analog radio with good performance and long battery life, as my digital one, a Sencor, is also exceptional but lacks in terms of battery life.
In the end, I can pick up many stations with very clear reception and the batteries last a long time. One flaw that I find and might bother some people is that the tuning wheel could have a shorter step for station detection, so you don't have to make movements less than a millimeter to lock perfectly onto a station. As a receiver, it is excellent and perhaps the aforementioned issue is the reason why some people may not pick up the stations they would expect. It is not a receiver issue but rather a manual station selection system issue.
Το πήρα για το χωριό , μια περιοχή που πιάνουν ελάχιστοι σταθμοί με άλλα ραδιόφωνα ίδιας κατηγορίας και επώνυμα . Ήθελα ένα αναλογικό με καλή απόδοση και μεγάλη αυτονομία ,καθώς από ψηφιακό έχω ένας επίσης εξαιρετικό sencor όμως πάσχει στο θέμα της αυτονομίας.
Εντέλει πιάνω πολλούς σταθμούς με πολύ καθαρή λήψη και οι μπαταρίες κρατάνε πολύ. Ένα ψεγάδι που βρίσκω και ίσως ενοχλήσει κάποιους είναι ότι θα μπορούσε να έχει πιο κοντό βήμα η ροδέλα για την ανίχνευση σταθμών ώστε να μη χρειάζεται να κανεις κινησεις λιγότερο του χιλιοστού ώστε να κλειδώσεις τέλεια σε σταθμό. Σαν δέκτης είναι εξαιρετικός και ίσως το παραπάνω που ανέφερα είναι η αιτία που μπορεί μερικοί να μη πιάνουν τους σταθμούς που θα περίμεναν. Δεν είναι θέμα δεκτη αλλά του χειροκίνητου συστήματος επιλογής σταθμών .
I received the radio today and at first glance, it seems to be of high quality. The materials used are excellent and its size is satisfactory and very beautiful. The speaker, considering its size, is powerful and clear, although it lacks a bit in conversation. In terms of sensitivity, compared to a radio of the same category, the Tecsun (pl 118), it falls behind significantly. In the exact same location, side by side, the pl 118 clearly picked up 20 stations while the SR 35 picked up only 14 FM stations. The speaker of the Pl 118 is more pleasant to listen to than the SR 35, but the latter is louder in volume. Overall, it is a quality and good radio that could certainly be priced lower.
το ράδιο το παραλάβα σήμερα με μία πρώτη ματιά φαίνεται ποιοτικό τα υλικά του είναι άριστα το μέγεθος του είναι ικανοποιητικό κ πολύ όμορφο. το ηχείο για το μέγεθός του είναι δυνατό-καθαρό, στην συνομιλία πιστεύω ότι υστερεί λίγο.
Στην ευαισθησία με σύγκριση με ένα ραδιόφωνο ίδιας κατηγορίας της tecsun ( pl 118 ) υστερεί αρκετά.στο ίδιο ακριβώς σημείο δίπλα-δίπλα το pl 118 έπιασε καθαρά 20 σταθμούς ενώ το SR 35 έπιασε 14 σταθμούς στα FM. το ηχείο του Pl 118 είναι πιο ευχάριστο στην ακρόαση από το SR 35 αλλά το δεύτερο είναι πιο δυνατό σε ένταση. γενικα ένα ποιοτικό και καλό ράδιο που θα μπορούσε βέβαια να κοστίζει λιγότερο.
It is a small radio, approximately 7X12 in size. It requires 2 AA batteries.
The sound is loud and extremely clear, as mentioned before. Even the reception on AM is excellent.

Excellent sound! Much better than the same category SONY. Perfect on FM! Average on AM and of course has better reception at night after 8 pm. Worth it for a pocket radio!

Το έχω στην κατοχή μου περίπου 2 μηνες, Καλό σήμα, καλός ήχος αλλά δυστυχώς άλλο ένα Ραδιοφωνάκι με μικρή αυτονομία μπαταρίας. Κάθε βδομάδα θέλει καινούργιες μπαταρίες (2 Χ ΑΑ)
I bought it for the village, an area where only a few stations are available with other radios of the same category and brand. I wanted an analog radio with good performance and long battery life, as my digital one, a Sencor, is also exceptional but lacks in terms of battery life.
In the end, I can pick up many stations with very clear reception and the batteries last a long time. One flaw that I find and might bother some people is that the tuning wheel could have a shorter step for station detection, so you don't have to make movements less than a millimeter to lock perfectly onto a station. As a receiver, it is excellent and perhaps the aforementioned issue is the reason why some people may not pick up the stations they would expect. It is not a receiver issue but rather a manual station selection system issue.
Το πήρα για το χωριό , μια περιοχή που πιάνουν ελάχιστοι σταθμοί με άλλα ραδιόφωνα ίδιας κατηγορίας και επώνυμα . Ήθελα ένα αναλογικό με καλή απόδοση και μεγάλη αυτονομία ,καθώς από ψηφιακό έχω ένας επίσης εξαιρετικό sencor όμως πάσχει στο θέμα της αυτονομίας.
Εντέλει πιάνω πολλούς σταθμούς με πολύ καθαρή λήψη και οι μπαταρίες κρατάνε πολύ. Ένα ψεγάδι που βρίσκω και ίσως ενοχλήσει κάποιους είναι ότι θα μπορούσε να έχει πιο κοντό βήμα η ροδέλα για την ανίχνευση σταθμών ώστε να μη χρειάζεται να κανεις κινησεις λιγότερο του χιλιοστού ώστε να κλειδώσεις τέλεια σε σταθμό. Σαν δέκτης είναι εξαιρετικός και ίσως το παραπάνω που ανέφερα είναι η αιτία που μπορεί μερικοί να μη πιάνουν τους σταθμούς που θα περίμεναν. Δεν είναι θέμα δεκτη αλλά του χειροκίνητου συστήματος επιλογής σταθμών .
I received the radio today and at first glance, it seems to be of high quality. The materials used are excellent and its size is satisfactory and very beautiful. The speaker, considering its size, is powerful and clear, although it lacks a bit in conversation. In terms of sensitivity, compared to a radio of the same category, the Tecsun (pl 118), it falls behind significantly. In the exact same location, side by side, the pl 118 clearly picked up 20 stations while the SR 35 picked up only 14 FM stations. The speaker of the Pl 118 is more pleasant to listen to than the SR 35, but the latter is louder in volume. Overall, it is a quality and good radio that could certainly be priced lower.
το ράδιο το παραλάβα σήμερα με μία πρώτη ματιά φαίνεται ποιοτικό τα υλικά του είναι άριστα το μέγεθος του είναι ικανοποιητικό κ πολύ όμορφο. το ηχείο για το μέγεθός του είναι δυνατό-καθαρό, στην συνομιλία πιστεύω ότι υστερεί λίγο.
Στην ευαισθησία με σύγκριση με ένα ραδιόφωνο ίδιας κατηγορίας της tecsun ( pl 118 ) υστερεί αρκετά.στο ίδιο ακριβώς σημείο δίπλα-δίπλα το pl 118 έπιασε καθαρά 20 σταθμούς ενώ το SR 35 έπιασε 14 σταθμούς στα FM. το ηχείο του Pl 118 είναι πιο ευχάριστο στην ακρόαση από το SR 35 αλλά το δεύτερο είναι πιο δυνατό σε ένταση. γενικα ένα ποιοτικό και καλό ράδιο που θα μπορούσε βέβαια να κοστίζει λιγότερο.
It is a small radio, approximately 7X12 in size. It requires 2 AA batteries.
The sound is loud and extremely clear, as mentioned before. Even the reception on AM is excellent.
Είναι μικρό ραδιόφωνο, οι διαστάσεις του 7Χ12 περίπου. Χρειάζεται 2 μπαταρίες ΑΑ.
Ο ήχος του είναι δυνατός και εξαιρετικά καθαρός, όπως προαναφέρθηκε. Ακόμη και στα AM η λήψη είναι εξαιρετική.
Excellent sound! Much better than the same category SONY. Perfect on FM! Average on AM and of course has better reception at night after 8 pm. Worth it for a pocket radio!

From the pocket size radios category, it has the best sound! By far!!! Tested side by side with the Sony ICF P36. The Sony is good too, but it lacks in terms of audio quality, not much difference, but the Sangean is a step above! For 23 euros, it's worth its money!

Sangean has been manufacturing it for years, a compact construction with a properly positioned good antenna that hides closed inside the body of the radio. It is a design that combines a PLL and DSP receiver, which provides accuracy on FM, but on medium wave the smooth frequency search is lost, because it searches in steps. The annoying pop in the medium wave exists, but not like in the unacceptably poorly designed SR-36 (the newer model). However, its overall charm is its sweet and mild sound, full for its size, which suggests perhaps even a larger radio in volume. It lacks in final volume, but wins in sound quality with a measured performance of mid frequencies for speech and music listening that does not tire. The global industry is gradually stopping the design and production of radios and is focusing on streaming and digital audio services, which are the new medium for music and information. Sangean, however, still continues to produce radios and with models that combine the old and the new. As for this particular model, you have to listen to the 150mw audio output it delivers, as well as with headphones, to understand why I sat down to write all this. Η sangean το κατασκευάζει χρόνια, συμπαγής κατασκευή με σωστή θέση καλής κεραίας που κρύβεται κλειστή στο σώμα του ραδιοφώνου. Είναι μια σχεδίαση συνδυασμού PLL και DSP δέκτη που έχει ακρίβεια στα FM, αλλά στα μεσαία χάνεται η ομαλή αναζήτηση συχνοτήτων, γιατί ψάχνει με βηματισμό (steps). Το ενοχλητικό pop στα μεσαία υπάρχει αλλά οχι όπως στο απαράδεκτα κακοσχεδιασμενο, SR-36 (το νεώτερο σε ηλικία μοντέλο). Η όλη του όμως γοητεία είναι ο γλυκός και ήπιος ήχος του, γεμάτος για το μέγεθός του, που παραπέμπει σε ίσως και μεγαλύτερο σε όγκο ραδιόφωνο. Υστερεί σε τελική ένταση, κερδίζει σε ποιότητα ήχου με μια μετρημένη απόδοση μεσαίων συχνοτήτων για ομιλία και ακρόαση μουσικής που δεν κουράζει. Η παγκόσμια βιομηχανία σιγά σιγά σταματά τον σχεδιασμό και παραγωγή ραδιοφώνων και ασχολείται με υπηρεσίες streaming and digital audio που είναι το νέο μέσο για μουσική και ενημέρωση. Η sangean όμως συνεχίζει ακόμα την παραγωγή ραδιοφώνων και με μοντέλα που συνδυάζουν το παλιό και το νέο. Όσο για το εν λόγο μοντέλο, πρέπει να ακούσετε τα 150mw audio output που δίνει, καθώς και με ακουστικά, για να καταλάβετε γιατί κάθισα να τα γράψω όλα αυτά. Σημ. Δεν εκπροσωπώ την εταιρεία, δεν εργάζομαι για αυτήν, δεν κάνω διαφήμιση, απλά παραθέτω την γνώμη μου για το ραδιόφωνο αυτό.
This SR-35 from Sangean is one of the top portable radios. I would recommend it for FM, but it also picks up AM, which I don't often listen to in Greece.
I wanted good sound and portability, not a tabletop one. It has satisfied me in both aspects.

Simply excellent. I highly recommend it. I have had it for 4 years without any problems. Excellent receiver, perfect speaker. Its use with rechargeable batteries makes it completely worry-free.
Απλά άριστο. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Το έχω 4 χρόνια, χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Άριστος δέκτης, τέλειο ηχείο. Η χρήση του με επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες το καθιστά εντελώς απροβλημάτιστο.
I also have a pocket BLAUPUNKT which I bought for 10 euros. Well, I also bought the Sangean SR-35! Everything is fine except for one thing, the reception. Terrible receiver. Specifically, I am in Porto Germeno, which is a difficult spot for radios, the BLAUPUNKT caught 3 stations clearly, while the Sangean SR-35 caught none! It disappointed me, frustrated me, unacceptable!!!! Terrible, I wonder about the reviews!
Εχω επισης και ενα pocket BLAUPUNKT οποιο το ειχα παρει 10 ευρω.Λοιπον πηρα καιτο Sangean SR-35 !Ολα καλα εκτος απο ενα το ποιο βασικο.Χαλια Δεκτης . Συγκεκριμενα,ειμαι Πορτο Γερμενο που ειναι λιγο δυσκολο σημειο για ραδιοφωνα, to BLAUPUNKT επιασε 3 σταθμους καθαρα, ενω το Sangean SR-35 κανενα! Με απογοητευσε, ξενερωσα , απαραδεκτο!!!! Μαυρα χαλια, απορω με τις αξιολογησεις!
I have had it in my possession for about 2 months. Good signal, good sound but unfortunately another radio with low battery life. It needs new batteries (2 X AA) every week
