  • I really liked the world of the game from the first moment I saw walkthrough videos. However, I don't have the patience to play this kind of games. A few months ago, they added a difficulty option and I thought this was my chance! On the lowest difficulty, it can be played by someone who doesn't have much experience with this type of games. Of course, even at this difficulty, you need to do the necessary level up and upgrades to be able to continue. I won't talk about graphics, story, etc., I will just say that at this price, it's worth giving it a try.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of souls games! Nevertheless, since I found it at a low price, I decided to get it! At first, I quit twice because I was getting incredibly frustrated... But by giving it one more chance and being patient, the game eventually won me over unbelievably. Beautiful world with lots of imagination and great design! From the combat system to the graphics, music, and story, it is incredible! I liked that you actually see and understand the story more clearly; it’s not like other souls games where you learn it from items or whatever... To sum up! A very nice and unique experience, I really enjoyed it, if you are a bit patient and like exploring, it’s totally worth it! But if you want something light where you won’t get frustrated at all, this game is not for you!

A potato type bloodborne with a very slow and repetitive fight system as well as movements-walking, that you dare not lose because the game has left you very far behind from the beginning of the level again. 1 star.

Having finished all the games from From Software and reading the positive comments about Lies of P, I decided to play it. The game is excellent in every way; I didn't expect it to be from a company whose first game on consoles this is. Incredible atmosphere and very nice gameplay, as well as the fact that they have taken a fairy tale and given it a dark side. It is the best soulslike out there (along with Nioh 1+2). The only negatives I found are:
    1. The level design is very simple, but that’s understandable for a game from an inexperienced company in the genre.
    2. The parry window of the game is very specific. You have to hold the button and then release it for the parry to work.
In summary, it’s almost a masterpiece for me, which I’m glad I heard the positive words about and played. I highly recommend it.

    4.3/5

The best "soulslike" game not made by FromSoft or Team Ninja, but not a perfect one by any means.

A few character stories didn't go anywhere and the game story lost some steam halfway through. The Cube was underwhelming and there were 2 chapters out of the total 11 that were dull. I don't think the levels being linear is necessarily a problem, but some areas leave something to be desired in terms of exploration. The Humanity system could also have been a little more developed. Finally, I wish regular enemies were more challenging. No problem with the bosses though, only one was lame but that was only because it didn't really fit the story in my opinion.

I could talk for hours about the things I like about this game and where it excels but I only have time for the relatively few negatives. Also, if you pick this game up (you should), please don't use guides or summons, the game becomes less fun this way and I also think you'll get stuck (this applies to most soul games too).

Beautiful, it reminds me of Bloodborne in aesthetics (of course, no game has reached it so far), anyone with some experience in souls will find it relatively easy. It's worth a second walkthrough. The music and songs are excellent.

A wonderful game that honors the game that inspired it (Bloodborne) in the best way possible. Oscar-worthy adaptation of a classic fairytale in my opinion, transformed into a darker version!
Positives: The combat system and world are amazing, the story as well. I liked the changes to the blades and handles, and all the usable items are very unique.
Negatives: (always compared to the beloved Bloodborne, as a standalone game it is exceptional) the world is relatively linear, and the shortcuts are good but never made me go "wow," it's good that I can navigate like in the labyrinths of BB, also it's not as dark and that feeling of "death lurking around every corner" is missing.
In my humble opinion, it is truly a wonderful game that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait for DLC, etc.
I hope a Bloodborne 2 will be released as well

Overall, a fantastic souls-like game that kept me engaged from beginning to end. Amazing music and scenery, and a very original storyline. The combat is great, with nice changes throughout, and the level design is very well-crafted. Personally, I am on my third playthrough (150+ hours) and haven't encountered a single bug. Highly recommended 100%

An excellent game... it is fantastic on all levels. Its gameplay offers plenty of variety and as you progress, it gives you countless opportunities to face each boss... the difficulty is similar to that of the Souls games, however, I find it more manageable. The only negative for me was the parry, which I couldn't figure out how to do correctly, even though I constantly used it in the Souls games and other Souls-like games like Wo Long, for example.
The music is reminiscent of Bloodborne... the lore is quite interesting and overall, you'll need about 50 hours for a non-rushed playthrough.
For me, it's my favorite Souls-like game, and we're talking about someone who has defeated every boss in the Souls games and Elden Ring

A game that is worth every last euro. Very nice graphics, very good controls, and from what I saw, it takes several hours to complete. For someone like me who is not a big fan of this genre, I mean, what I mean is that you die and lose everything and start again from the beginning, this is something that I don't have the patience to continue. If you are a fan of this genre, buy it with your eyes closed

The game is a work of art from every angle, and if you look at it even in gameplay mechanics, which although it is based on soulslike, you feel like you are playing something unique.

Beautiful, it reminds me of Bloodborne in aesthetics (of course, no game has reached it so far), anyone with some experience in souls will find it relatively easy. It's worth a second walkthrough. The music and songs are excellent.

Beautiful game with excellent sound, music, and graphics, but it is incomprehensibly difficult. Result? I gave up. I couldn't even defeat the first Boss. Avoid it if you don't have a lot of patience.

Excellent game for its genre (soulsborne), very nice story, very nice gameplay. I finished it 3 times for the platinum and I never got bored, I highly recommend it. Those who have played Bloodborne will find it quite familiar

One of the most beautiful soulslike games. Now if someone has so much money and has it on all consoles and doesn't like it (and why did they buy it on all consoles, just okay.)

The best soulslike on the market alongside Nioh 2. And finally, FINALLY, we have a story and characters that we understand and enjoy in a game of this kind. 10/10

A very nice soulslike game that has borrowed elements from Bloodborne and Sekiro.

For anyone who enjoys this type of game with extra difficulty, I highly recommend it 100%. The only thing I have a slight objection to is the price, which could have been a little lower.

  • Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of souls games!

  • It's an ok souls-like game...
Nice graphics and sound...difficult though...(on PC it's more manageable)...but a bit slow and repetitive as my friend also said..
Also, it's not open world...it's semi-open, more on the linear side I would say..
    Did I like it?
I liked it but I wasn't crazy about it...

  • A potato type bloodborne with a very slow and repetitive fight system as well as movements-walking, that you dare not lose because the game has left you very far behind from the beginning of the level again. 1 star.

  • Having finished all the games from From Software and reading the positive comments about Lies of P, I decided to play it.
