Description & Specifications

"Dear friend!" Poirot had said to me as I was leaving his room. These were the last words I would ever hear from his lips.

After their first case at Styles, the now elderly Hercule Poirot and his heartwarming friend Arthur Hastings return to the scene of the crime for one last time. The resourceful Belgian detective, despite his advanced age and the arthritis that has immobilized him, is called upon to solve yet another case.

His little grey cells ignite to discover the serial killer "X," who has committed not one, not two, but five murders! The residents of the luxurious mansion are all quite likable, harmless, and above all suspicion. Or so they seem.

However, as the anonymous suspect prepares to strike again, the two friends must act swiftly... Before the curtain falls!

Read an excerpt

I read the notes carefully, increasingly confused. In the end, I put the paper down and looked at Poirot, waiting for explanations. "So, mon ami?" "I remember the Bradley case," I said slowly. "I had read about it in the newspapers back then. She was a very beautiful woman." Poirot nodded without speaking. "But help me," I said to him. "What is all this?" "Tell me first what opinion you formed after reading them." I was quite puzzled. "You gave me a report on five different murders. They all happened in different places, involving people from different social classes. Moreover, at first glance, there is no similarity among them. One was a case of jealousy, in another we have an unhappy woman who wanted to get rid of her husband, in another the motive was money, the fourth we could say had selfless motives, as the murderer did not try to avoid punishment, while the fifth was truly brutal, with the murder most likely committed under the influence of intoxication." I paused. "Is there a common element among them that I missed?" I asked uncertainly.
