Description

The PGYTECH MantisPod 2.0 mini tripod supports six shooting modes: portrait, handheld, low-angle, Mantis, high-angle and briefcase. Its aluminum-alloy clamp lets you attach it to surfaces up to 90 mm thick, such as glass panels, doors and trees. The ball head rotates 360° horizontally and 120° vertically, while the rotating cold shoe mount accepts additional accessories.

The foldable tripod has non-slip feet and is made of aluminum alloy and glass-fiber-reinforced nylon. The Arca-Swiss base and 1/4" threaded hole let you mount equipment, while the dedicated mount for the PGYTECH Mantis RC M1 wireless remote does not include the remote.

    Purchase date 20/7/24. Although it is mostly hard plastic, it seems durable. The mechanism is properly tight for now, both in the legs and in the ball. It locks precisely in every position. Also, the safety and the mechanism of the base for the photographic function work flawlessly and held a total of 1 kg, inspiring confidence.
    Relatively expensive for the size category, since for the same money there are tripods <<brand>> and aluminum ones that are much larger and have an independent head, but do not provide the same holding capabilities.
    14/12/24. After 6 months, it remains functional as purchased, both in its legs and in the head. Recommended for purchase.
