Once again, Xiaomi did not disappoint me. I come from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the difference is huge. I was a bit hesitant at first since there were no reviews here for me to have any positives and negatives before buying it. Nevertheless, I bought it and so far I have not regretted it. I received the phone on 27/3, so I cannot have a full opinion. However, I will mention some things that I liked.
1) Speakers & Dolby Atmos:
The Dolby feature is a very nice detail. It gives you the ability to activate it and choose the level while you are in the video, game, or movie. The phone has two speakers that play simultaneously. One next to the charging port and one next to the audio jack. The sound is very powerful.
2) 67W charging:
It charges quite fast and I did not expect it. I had in mind that it would charge like all other phones with 67W. I do not know what Xiaomi has done here, but it works wonders on this issue.
Quite satisfactory. I worked on the phone for about 4 hours installing applications and software updates. The battery dropped significantly but not excessively. Let's assume that it dropped from 66% to 45%. So I am fully satisfied with this part.
I do not have a big opinion on this issue because I do not deal with it much. Nevertheless, it is satisfactory for an average user.
It is the reason why I bought the phone. Like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, this one also has a MediaTek processor. At first, I was afraid since I heard many other things, but since I bought the 8 Pro, I started to trust them. As for the MediaTek that this phone has, I cannot have an opinion since I have not used it enough. So I keep a reserve.
Very sturdy. It is not one of the lightest phones, but it sits quite well in the hand. The cameras protrude significantly, but the problem is solved with the case that Xiaomi provides.
My interlocutor heard me very clearly without any interruption or parasites, as I heard him. The speaker is quite loud, resulting in the interlocutor being heard very well by those around you.
For now, that's all I have to say. I will come back as soon as I have news. For starters, the phone covers me 100% for the use I make of it. However, it will show over time.
The mobile phone was very good when I bought it, fast. After two weeks, it stopped getting signal inside the house, neither 4G nor 5G, and it rarely gets signal outside the house. I have tried everything, changed the sim, did the latest update, and nothing. If we overlook this major problem, it is very good as a mobile phone
It is one of the best mobile phones that cost only 3 hundred. It is very good for its price. I highly recommend it!
I have had it for 2 months now and I can't say that I am satisfied. I find my previous phone, Redmi Note 8 Pro, to be much better. Although this one has more storage space, a better processor, and is generally superior technologically, I notice that it lags and the camera as well as the applications lag, even with very light usage, while they are always updated with the latest upgrades. I have had to restart it countless times and we are talking about a brand new phone. If it does this now, what will happen over time? The battery charges very quickly, but its durability is not that great. For the same price, I might have preferred to get a different model.
All of you say about the battery that it doesn't last!!! It's 11 PM, it's at 50% and it's been charged since 7 AM and I've been using it constantly since morning!!
After 20 days, it stopped receiving signal and data, in short, I don't have a mobile phone. It's been a month since I've been waiting for it to be fixed... The issue is known, so I wouldn't buy a similar one again
Two years ago I bought the poco x3 pro for 250 euros, today after 2 years updates have stopped and I decide to go for the top of the line for the money, the 12 note pro.... I don't know what to say.... the two-year-old phone has better performance than the current one... The processor it has is not even equal, but inferior to the two-year-old phone.... As time goes by, phones should increase in performance and here we see the exact opposite.... Of course, I will not buy it, I will wait for the 13.
The first week itself presented a problem with the signal as it did not catch at all, the same problem occurred to many buyers.
I returned it and a refund was made after 2 months of waiting.
It is beautiful and lightweight.
It looks high-quality.
It charges very quickly.
Everything seems good on my operating system.
Its camera is really good.
It surfs like a charm.
It includes a transparent case, cable, and charger.
I consider it very fair for its price.
Basically, up to the 300 mark, I don't think there is any other option.
I have had this mobile phone for about 5 months and it has impressed me. Its battery hasn't made a great impression on me, but apart from that, everything else about it is perfect. It is beautiful. The speakers are very good and its screen is amazing. Perhaps the best phone in its category and I highly recommend it, it is fantastic and offers great value for money
The mobile phone, besides having a relatively good appearance in terms of design, the rest of the materials it has are very low in durability. I must say that with the use of a screen protector, the screen broke with the first drop to the point where it needs replacement. Not to mention the issue it has with the signal, it doesn't catch if you are inside a house. Let's not forget that the battery, from the first days of the mobile phone, drains as if it's a Ferrari engine inside a smart car, it constantly needs charging. The positives are that it has a very good speaker with good sound quality, but otherwise, it's not worth its money, stay away from it
Overall, the phone is a good choice for those looking for an affordable mobile with satisfactory performance. However, the battery is a point that should be taken into consideration if you use the phone with minimal usage throughout the day.
Very poor call quality on WhatsApp, Viber...the battery lasts very little...the camera is normal, nothing special. It's not worth its money.
I have had it for a month in general it doesn't bother me anything except for the battery life which I think drops a bit faster than I expected.....it is clearly value for money and worth it...
I had the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10s and I believed that its battery would be equally strong. Unfortunately, it does not have a good battery at all, which for me is the most important thing in a smartphone. It never lasts a whole day.
I have bought 2 devices and I have been amazed by the phone's capabilities.
It doesn't freeze, it's fast, has a very good screen and the battery charges very quickly, it lasts me 1 1/2 days depending on usage.
I recommend the blue color, it's beautiful.
It has android 13.
I recommend it to those who want a low price with very good performance!!!
I am very satisfied with the purchase.
The only downside is that its battery lasts less compared to the Huawei I had, but it charges super fast, so it covers me. The purchase was worth it.
The battery drains tragically fast with conservative use. From 100% in the morning, it reaches 10% by 9 PM with a few calls and some social media usage. If used more heavily, like watching YouTube, it drains by 10% every 20-30 minutes.
Yeah, okay, it charges quickly, so what?
The battery is for crying. With minimal use, it doesn't last a day. It needs a second charge during the day. Stay away!
I have had this mobile phone since May 2023, and I can say that it is quite good for its price, especially if you consider that it will soon drop below €200. Besides that, the camera is better than I expected, and the battery is very good. It never lags (even with heavy usage). Also, to give you a point of comparison, a few days later, a friend of mine got the iPhone 13, and we compared them in several aspects. The Xiaomi was better in everything except for the camera and social media.
The mobile phone is fast, it takes good photos (since it has a Sony sensor), especially in low light conditions, dusk or dawn, they are better compared to its competitors. I would like its speaker to be a little louder when listening through headphones (wired or Bluetooth) because it loses its power, but this is not a big problem... Its major issue is its battery!!!! Without making heavy use of the mobile phone, it needs to be charged every day!!! It definitely plays a role that I use the screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but still, the rapid drop in battery life is not justified... In the end, what's the point of having the option to choose 120 Hz if you use it at 60 Hz to prevent the battery from draining??? If the battery performs like this on a mobile phone that I have had for a week, I don't want to imagine how it will behave in 6 months!!!!! Simply after so many years in the market, I believe Xiaomi intentionally uses lower quality batteries in order to sell cheap mobile phones...
I compare it to my previous device (poco x3pro) which cost 240 euros, much less money and with a better processor. If you play, for example, call of duty mobile, do not choose this device. The resolution in the game is terrible. It constantly disconnects from Bluetooth headphones while it appears on the screen that there is a connection, maybe it's the software's fault... A waste of money, it will definitely be the last Xiaomi device for me since it constantly releases new software and burdens the devices.
After a lot of searching, I chose the Redmi Note 12 Pro 8/256. I really have no complaints about the phone, it does everything quickly, the battery is satisfactory, even though I read other comments saying otherwise, it easily lasts a day with heavy usage, the charging is great, the photos are excellent both in the morning and at night thanks to the very good lens (imx 766), it exceeds its category, and the video quality is very satisfying! As for the software, it is updated and has much fewer glitches compared to previous Redmi models, which were always their downfall! I truly believe that it has no competition for its price
As a mobile phone, it is good, but in my opinion, I would advise you to get the previous model because its battery lasts longer
Extreme charging speed
If you had any other Redmi, this one is exactly what you expect, the same phone you had before, just better. For the price range it is in, it is a very good choice. Bonus points for the dual speakers, which are quite loud and of good quality
While it is an excellent mobile phone, the battery rarely lasts for the whole day. I am trying to see if I have made any settings that consume extra battery, but still, I believe that in a new mobile phone, the battery should last longer. However, I must say that it charges very quickly, so the problem is reduced.
I had bought it when it came out for 400 euros, at the price it is now it is literally a steal.
Visually it is not something special but...
Incredible AMOLED screen, smooth experience at 120 Hz refresh rate, extremely fast in whatever the average user does, browsing, multitasking.
A very decent camera at 200 MP.
The battery life could be a little better but it doesn't bother, the lightning-fast charging at 67 W makes your life a little easier.
We are talking about a fantastic mobile phone that in other times we would have paid much more to acquire.
At 240 it plays completely on its own
The phone is very fast. The camera is better than the Note 8 pro. The video is similar to my previous mobile phone. The battery, for the use I make, runs out relatively quickly - but fortunately it fully charges in half an hour. The sound is great, I have no complaints. The resolution is very good. Only the battery does not satisfy me...
It is worth buying for 280, of course. The positives are that it is fast and comfortable to navigate, the screen resolution and high-intensity music playback are excellent. The photos are quite good, not perfect but satisfactory. The negatives are that the battery drains relatively easily, but it charges extremely quickly. The device heats up easily, but only if games are played at high-level graphics, there is a slight issue. Otherwise, the purchase is definitely worth it.
After almost a month of having it as a mobile phone, it's okay, I don't see a big difference from the Note9 Pro. Okay, good screen and speaker, the jack could be on the bottom instead of the top, good photos. The problem is the battery, it can't handle moderate social media usage, the battery drops 5% after 5 minutes on FB. With the Android upgrade, you can no longer disable VOLTE and there is no longer an option to choose which network to use. I always had it on 2G since it always had better signal, and if I needed data, I would switch to 4G. Now it only has 2 options: 2G/3G/4G and 2/3/4/5G, and as a result, the phone constantly tries to find a signal, which probably contributes to the fast battery drain. If you go on a trip and won't have access to electricity, bring a couple of power banks with you. Okay, the charger charges it quickly, but with daily charging, I'm not sure if it will last a year.
I have it for 2 days and I also had the redmi 10 pro for 2.5 years.
Design-wise, it is almost the same as the 10 pro, just more square-shaped and without a glass back due to the 5G.
It is fast, does not lag with 8GB RAM, has a large storage space of 256GB, has a regular 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 67W fast charger. It also comes with a durable transparent protective case and factory-installed screen protector.
It charges very quickly and has good battery life.
The camera is good (for a mobile phone, of course).
It has received a nice upgrade in terms of the operating system, but not to the extent that you need to learn new things to operate it.
It has a nice 120Hz display, powerful speakers, and a good microphone.
The fingerprint sensor is fast, never lags, and personally, it is more convenient than the ones on the screen.
It is dust and water-resistant (note that it is not meant to be submerged in water for a long time, for that you need IP67 certification or higher).
In summary, it offers great value for money and competes with much more expensive models.
Well, guys, I don't know what negatives you're talking about regarding the phone. The battery is not a problem, it lasts a full day and charges to 80% in 20 minutes.
Secondly, the camera is perfect, those who know, know. The photos and videos come out great thanks to the OIS and the use of the IMX 766, which is also used in the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
Thirdly, the processor doesn't lag anywhere, and in Call of Duty, I consistently get around 70-90 fps, and in Fortnite, everything is high at 50-60 frames without drops.
Fourthly, the MIUI is nothing like the regular Redmi Note 12. It has animations everywhere and is much smoother overall, thanks to the 120Hz display, even in the menus.
Fifthly, the screen has made a great impression on me as it is OLED, unlike the older Xiaomi models.
If you're coming from an older Xiaomi like the Redmi Note 9, 8, 10, or 11, come to the 12, you'll love it even more. If you have a Redmi Note 10-11 Pro, then go for the Redmi Note 13 Pro, you'll see a big difference.
The phone is worth the money and more. It has no problems with internet or data, as I get 650 Mbps easily with 5G at home, and it doesn't disconnect like you may have read. The phone also has something similar to Apple's Taptic Engine, so it feels like a flagship and is sturdy in hand.
(Small update after 1 month)
Whatever they say about the battery is irrelevant. It lasts from 8 in the morning until 9 at night with continuous 5G usage, which is available everywhere, and the signal issue that they mention doesn't exist.
Any review that doesn't say "confirmed purchase," don't read it, as they may be coming from the regular Note 12 or Redmi 12, which look similar.
I promise you that there are no issues, buy it without a second thought
