The DyonMed Nefro test is a self-test for assessing kidney function by measuring albumin in urine. It detects the presence of albumin, which is an indicator of kidney function. It is intended primarily for people with diabetes, high blood pressure or metabolic syndrome, as well as those with high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Albumin in urine is also an indicator of cardiovascular risk. To interpret the result, a positive result is indicated when the “T” line is fainter than the “C” line or is not visible. A negative result is indicated when the “T” line is darker than the “C” line. The result is invalid if the “C” line does not appear within five minutes.
