We use it both during tummy time and when the baby is lying on their back. It grabs their attention every time because, apart from the sounds (which are plenty and very nice classical music), it also lights up to the rhythm of the music (green, red, blue colors), resulting in the baby following the object with their eyes and turning their head wherever we move the object.

This is the best toy you can buy for your baby. It awakens their senses so they can look at things and be active, even though the packaging says age 3+. My baby isn't even 45 days old and enjoys it after feeding, having switched from the musical bouncing chair that only has 3 songs.

Unlike other toys that are expensive for one or two songs, this one has dozens of songs and she likes almost all of them, except for the cowboy song. This is the top toy on the list.

The second best is the "Scandinavian Soccer Oball" football with high contrast, from Bright Starts, along with the Banana Panda cards. The first two toys will be used forever, until the baby becomes a toddler. I believe this will make my baby have a sharp mind as well. She pays more attention to things.
