Nice and sturdy, doesn't move from its place. However, on an apartment floor you can hear the weights when you put them down (I'm not even talking about dropping them, the person below will be in shock). The situation improves significantly if you put a mat underneath, for example a carpet. Also, the smell is still there 3 months later, even after airing them out on the balcony. Overall, I think it's only suitable for ground floor gyms.

Exactly what you want from such a product. Extremely compact and durable. It withstands impacts (I have tested it in normal conditions) and any use one might want to give it. No comparison to fake foam mats that leave marks if you leave something on them. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a quality floor for your gym, it is ideal.

I have been using it for almost a year in my garage gym under harsh conditions (barbell drops, etc.). It isolates the noise, protects the tiles underneath, and has not peeled or dented anywhere! I have even used it outdoors for a while and still without any issues. I highly recommend it to anyone involved in free weights.
