The RUT200 is a compact industrial cellular router that provides reliable, significant connectivity in harsh conditions prevalent in industries such as automation, transportation, and manufacturing. This model is equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and two Ethernet ports, making it ideal for the quick installation of primary and backup connectivity with remote management capabilities.

The RUT200 by Teltonika is a mobile router, a device to which other devices (e.g., computer, mobile phone, TV) connect either wirelessly or via cable, and it shares internet access with them.

Internet access is obtained through the built-in modem that uses the mobile network with the installation of a SIM card. The SIM card must have an active connection with a data package. It connects to the 4G network, which offers significantly higher speeds than 3G.

For the device to operate at this speed, there must be corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area where we are located. It emits a signal on one frequency, 2.4Ghz, which offers lower speed compared to those that emit 2 (dual) or 3 (tri-band) frequencies. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range.

VPN Configuration Capability

The device has VPN (Virtual Private Network) configuration capability so that traffic from all devices on our network passes through it.

The VPN acts as an intermediary between us and the rest of the internet, giving us the ability to give the impression that we are geographically in another country and the pages we visit see the VPN address as the visitor and not our own.

This provides us with anonymity and access to geographically restricted content. VPN services are usually subscription-based and paid.

At the same time, its NAT firewall hides the addresses of all devices on your local network behind a single address, increasing security.
