The Cryptocoryne parva from Sri Lanka is the smallest of all Cryptocorynes, with a height of just 3-6 cm and a rosette width that does not exceed 5-8 cm. It is one of the few species that does not significantly change the shape of its leaves and their color depending on the growing conditions. It requires more light compared to most other Cryptocorynes, so it should never be overshadowed by other plants. Individual plants should be planted a few centimeters apart, and after about six months, they will form a cohesive small group of plants.
