Very nice, original that we are the "monsters" and not the heroes, it's a nice change. I liked that it is cooperative, it's easy to learn and to set up. What I didn't like very much is that if you play it on "easy" it's very easy (and that's fine), but if you play it on medium difficulty it's very hard, very abruptly. We didn't even dare to play it on "hard."
Even so, it was very enjoyable!

Excellent cooperative tabletop game of the Tower Defence type. The rules are quite simple, and the back covers in the two books (instructions and missions) help as they quickly explain the icons on the cards and the heroes' turn. I do not agree that the game is for ages 14 and up, as stated on the box, nor for 10, as mentioned in the Skroutz description. As I mentioned, the rules are simple and understandable, and the cards have no text at all, only icons, so younger children can play, even if they do not know English (even from 6-7 years old). The nine different types of monsters offer great variety in the game, as each type has a different role and actions and a different number of pawns it can use. The three difficulty levels allow players to familiarize themselves with the game and increase the difficulty when they are ready. The mission book offers the option to play each mission separately or in campaign style with additional rules and restrictions. In any case, each mission looks different depending on the monsters chosen by the players. It helps in developing strategic thinking, while there are also twists, as the dynamics can change from round to round. Overall, it is a game that can be played many times without becoming boring. The illustration of the cards and game tiles is excellent, with a cartoonish but nice style. The wooden pawns are equally nice, as are the tokens. It might be a bit expensive (I got it for 59 euros) for its content. On the other hand, all the contents are of very good quality, easily organized in the insert that is inside the box, which is also very high quality. The main thing is that it is an original and very enjoyable game that one can play for a long time.

Fun, with easy rules and plenty of scenarios to choose from. If you include all 9 different types of monsters, it gives a very high level of replayability!

Keep the Heroes Out is very good, easy, fast, with depth and twists. It is a change (for the better) compared to other similar ones that require more time to finish and are more complex in understanding the rules.
