When you have the charger connected, charging starts automatically as soon as the voltage drops. The fan does not run continuously.

Very good for its money. Its pros include the good charging or maintenance battery algorithm/program. It is not a fast charger for "dead" batteries but for proper healthy charging within the time frame required to avoid damaging the battery cells. It does not overheat itself or the battery it charges (on hot days with high temperatures, it lowers the charging Amps). It remains a Chinese product so its reliability and durability over time are unknown factors but at the price offered, the risk is worth it (even well-known "European" brands with similar philosophy chargers that were once top-notch are now manufactured in China and have dramatically reduced their quality).
