By adjusting the heat, it warms up immediately, showing its 1400 watts. The plate of the crepe maker is indeed ceramic. It does not stick the crepe dough at all. It cooks quickly and easily. The wooden accessories help a lot in spreading and flipping the crepe easily. A very good choice.

The ceramic surface of this crepe maker does not heat evenly, resulting in the areas where the heating element is located burning the crepe batter. In the first ten uses, and with proper cleaning of the ceramic surface according to the instructions, the ceramic surface has darkened at the point where the heating element is located. I was using it until now because the batter did not stick, but as I expected, it started to stick! So it is now useless, and this is with very normal use over a period of ~7 months...

I bought the crepe maker to replace another one, also of the Izzy brand, which I was satisfied with until it broke. I bought it mainly for the "stone" coating it had. I was not satisfied as the cooking was not even, the plate burned in the center and would not clean, and finally it started smoking from the power button, so I threw it away.

I got a ceramic one for healthier cooking. Ideal size and lightweight. Beautiful design.

When you pour the mixture, you need to spread it quickly because it sticks. Generally, the first side comes out overcooked-burnt for the crepe. The second side is just fine. I lowered the heat to avoid burning, but it takes too long afterward. Overall, it is slow and uneven in cooking, perhaps due to the ceramics. The wooden tools are very convenient.

Summary: The biggest drawback for me is the burning on the first side when pouring the mixture. I don't mind that it takes a little longer to cook. For its price, it's simply good.

After 6 months it does not burn evenly. It develops a high temperature from the bottom. I don't know if I got a defective product or if it's like this in general.

Incredibly poor quality. The plate blackened during the first cookings and the on/off button broke within a month. All of this with careful use... Stay away

First impression very good... doesn't seem to heat up for 1400w but ok. Also, the ready light doesn't turn on even though it's heating... value for money for sure

Because I struggled to decide, I have to say that this particular model is the best. It doesn't stick, it doesn't burn the crepe unless you go for a walk. Very good purchase. I highly recommend it. Sweet and savory. For home use, it's a very good choice. Very good quality-price ratio. The lightweight ceramic stove doesn't get dirty.

We made perfect crepes with the kids! I am very happy that I discovered a crepe maker with a ceramic plate, healthier than non-stick ones... The crepes were cooked very easily and didn't stick at all. The surface is very large and the crepes turned out professional with the accessories included in the package. A great value for money choice

It doesn't heat up as quickly as the Izzy F638 and it doesn't cook evenly either. After 1 year with little use, it has blackened and doesn't clean. It does have a nicer design though

The non-stick plate sticks after a few uses, no uniform heating of the plate.
