The MC210CS media converter is designed to convert 1000BASE-LX fiber to 1000Base-T copper media or vice versa. Compatible with IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX standards, it can be used with single-mode fiber optic cables with SC-Type connectors.

It extends fiber distance up to 20km for single-mode fiber. It operates as a standalone device or with the TP-LINK TL-MC1400 Rackmount Chassis.
