    Very good product!

The first unit I received was defective. It couldn’t connect to WiFi and it wouldn’t pair via Bluetooth either, so it was impossible to set up in any way. The store where I bought it replaced it without any hassle, and the next one connected normally on the first try. It has been working flawlessly for the last 7 months.

The battery shows 85% from the first month, but the positive thing is that since then it hasn’t dropped at all — probably an issue with the readings rather than actual consumption.

The test was the tricky part, because to confirm that it works you literally have to set paper on fire and wait for it to produce smoke. I made a few attempts but couldn’t get it to trigger; I didn’t want the house to smell, so I installed it untested at the vacation home, where I was hosting friends. At some point it started beeping and at the same time I got an email — they were frying food without having turned on the extractor hood. So yes, it works normally and the notification arrives immediately even when you are hundreds of kilometers away.

    Very happy with the purchase.

Unfortunately, they keep disconnecting from the wi-fi and go offline continuously. I have tried connecting them to the router and they still disconnect after 1 to 2 days. Only on an old TP-Link extender do they stay connected a little longer. I have to frequently check the app to see if they go disconnected or offline. As simple detectors, they are good, but as wi-fi detectors, they are not good because you will always have the doubt if the notification will hit your phone at that bad moment.

  • It's worth every euro. I forgot the pan on and before the oil caught fire, the smoke alerted me immediately; it needs to be in the center of the kitchen, not above the extractor

The battery went from 100 to 60 in 2 days...
(Of course, without me touching it)
