She doesn't remember how she started her collection. Maybe they always did, but now it's different, now stories reach out their hand to her and she pulls them closer... When Janis takes on the task of cleaning Mrs. B's house—a clever and cunning ninety-two-year-old woman—she eventually meets someone who wants to learn her own story. But Janis cuts her off: she is a guardian of stories, she doesn't have her own story. At least, not a story she can tell. Mrs. B isn't fooled; she realizes that with Janis, the matter is much more complicated than it seems. What is she trying to hide? After all, doesn't every person have a story?
