The TAP PRE-PM pedal is a preamp for electro-acoustic instruments such as guitar, bouzouki, lute, violin, and lyra. Its advanced circuitry provides a responsive sound tailored to the instrument, while the controls adjust the sensor’s volume and tone, as well as the microphone volume. It connects directly to a P.A. system or acoustic amplifier and is compatible with most wireless systems and effects pedals.
It features two 3.5 mm mini-jack inputs for the sensor and microphone, as well as a ¼" output. It attaches to the instrument with Hook and Loop tape and includes a battery compartment. It is powered by three LR44 alkaline batteries or 48-volt phantom power via the microphone’s XLR input. The power supply is disconnected when the output plug is removed.
