The Horizon GX2400GPS/E does not require a GPS connection for DSC (Digital Selective Calling) or AIS (Automated Identification System). It comes ready to use, making it ideal for acquiring AIS targets and AIS SART, making DSC calls, sharing position, and navigating emergency DSC calls with just a few simple steps.

Your vessel's position is displayed in relation to AIS targets and alerts you when an AIS ship may be approaching too closely via the Closest Point of Approach (CPA) or Time to Closest Point of Approach (TCPA) notification.

  • Compatibility with NMEA2000 and NMEA0183
  • Second station capability with wired RAM4 or wireless RAM4X (using the optional SCU-30 WiFi Module)
  • Built-in 66 channel GPS receiver
  • Noise canceling function for receive and transmit audio
  • Meets ITU-R M.493-15 Class D (Digital Selective Calling)
  • Baud rate selection of 4800 or 38400 NMEA for plotters with 1 NMEA port
  • Display of AIS/AIS SART targets: MMSI, Call Sign, Ship Name, BRG, DST, SOG, and COG
  • Programmable storage keys for up to 10 favorite channels
  • Intercom capability between the Radio and Optional Second Station
