It has already been working for 3 months in a village with poor 4G signal, placed near a balcony door on the upper floor at the best spot in the house in terms of signal (the ground floor barely gets signal in a few spots), with a FREE2GO card, it works very well and rarely will there be 2-3 minutes where it lags. Speeds are generally 55-70 down/10-15 up with the usual fluctuations in signal that mobile networks have. I am absolutely satisfied and I hope it continues like this in the long run.
Δουλεύει ήδη 3 μήνες σε χωριό με κακό σήμα 4G, τοποθετημένο κοντά σε μπαλκονόπορτα στον πάνω όροφο στο καλύτερο σημείο του σπιτιού από πλευράς σήματος (ο κάτω όροφος οριακά σε λίγα σημεία), με μια FREE2GO κάρτα, πάει πολύ καλά και σπάνια θα είναι 2-3 λεπτά που θα κωλώσει. Ταχύτητες 55-70down/10-15up σε γενικές γραμμές με τα κλασσικά σκαμπανεβάσματα του σήματος που κάνει η κινητή. Είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος και μακάρι να πάει έτσι σε βάθος χρόνου.

It is a very good solution for its price and its signal is quite decent even without external antennas as long as it faces a window as mentioned in the installation guide. If your provider has a good signal in the area, you will have absolutely no issues. I will come back later if I install external antennas, for now it is super!

Guys, for the money, it's the best I've bought for starters. When you connect, you download the app on your phone and do what it tells you, and it's also in Greek. It does what it promises. We placed it in an area with moderate signal and it made it better. For me, that's enough. A small tip is to move it around until you find the best spot.

I bought it to replace a Vodafone ZTE219t portable device because even though I was next to a mobile tower, it constantly lost signal, resulting in a tragic decrease in speeds or worse, complete disconnection. This required manual restarts, which were impossible remotely if I was on vacation, resulting in losing the cameras. The box has a TP-Link sticker indicating the relationship with the company. Its UI is also identical. Unfortunately, from the first moment I powered it on, although it is indeed plug and play and very easy to install, it exhibits the same problem to a much worse degree. It constantly loses signal. I suspect it is also a problem with the mobile company and the instability of the signal. The positive thing is that it performs an automatic restart, which lasts only a few seconds, so it is not an issue if you are away from the space. However, it remains annoying. If you are working on a computer and it suddenly closes your pages without warning, losing whatever you are doing at that moment, especially if you are on some platform, you will have to reconnect and resubmit everything from scratch. We are not even talking about watching a movie or listening to streaming. It is infuriating. The speeds are satisfactory for 4G, the same as the ZTE219, but in no case do they reach those of a mobile phone. The range and coverage within the house is somewhat less than that of the ZTE. Probably its internal antenna is not sufficient, but if external ones need to be purchased, then it would have been better to choose another device. This is because ultimately the price along with the purchase of antennas does not differ from other models with built-in ones, which are likely to be better in terms of signal stability. If I had known from the beginning that it was essentially a TP-Link device, I would have read these complaints that I am now reading online about constant disconnections, which unfortunately are very many. I applied everything recommended from the menu, but the problem remains. I will contact the company's technical department to see if they know anything more or for a replacement if it is an issue with this specific device.
Το αγόρασα προς αντικατάσταση ενός φορητού Vodafone ZTE219t γιατί ενώ είμαι δίπλα σε κεραία κινητής, έχανε συνεχώς το σήμα, με αποτέλεσμα τραγική μείωση ταχυτήτων ή χειρότερα πλήρη αποσύνδεση. Αυτό απαιτούσε χειροκίνητες επανεκκινήσεις, που ήταν αδύνατο εξ αποστάσεως αν βρισκόμουν σε διακοπές, με συνέπεια να χάνω τις κάμερες.
Στο κουτί έχει αυτοκόλλητο TP-Link υποδεικνύοντας την σχέση με την εταιρία. Το UI του επίσης είναι πανομοιότυπο.
Δυστυχώς από την πρώτη στιγμή που το έβαλα σε λειτουργία, παρότι είναι όντως plug and play και πανεύκολο στην εγκατάσταση, παρουσιάζει το ίδιο πρόβλημα σε πολύ χειρότερο βαθμό. Χάνει συνεχώς το σήμα. Πιθανολογώ είναι και πρόβλημα της εταιρίας κινητής και της αστάθειας του σήματος. Το θετικό είναι πως κάνει αυτόματη επανεκκίνηση, που διαρκεί ελάχιστα δευτερόλεπτα, άρα δεν τίθεται θέμα αν απουσιάζεις από το χώρο. Δεν παύει όμως να είναι εκνευριστική. Αν εργάζεσαι σε υπολογιστή και σου κλείνει τις σελίδες ξαφνικά και απροειδοποίητα, χάνοντας ότι κάνεις εκείνη τη στιγμή, ειδικά αν είσαι σε κάποια πλατφόρμα, θα πρέπει να ξανά συνδεθείς και να υποβάλλεις τα πάντα εξ αρχής. Δεν συζητάμε για παρακολούθηση ταινίας ή ακρόαση streaming. Σπάει νεύρα.
Η ταχύτητες είναι ικανοποιητικές για 4G, ίδιες με το ΖΤΕ219, σε καμιά περίπτωση όμως δεν φτάνουν αυτές ενός κινητού.
Η εμβέλεια και κάλυψη εντός του χώρου του σπιτιού είναι κατά τι μικρότερη από αυτή του ΖΤΕ. Πιθανότατα η εσωτερική του κεραία δεν είναι επαρκής, όμως αν πρέπει να αγοραστούν εξωτερικές, τότε καλύτερα να είχε προτιμηθεί η αγορά άλλης συσκευής. Κι αυτό γιατί τελικά η τιμή μαζί με αγορά κεραιών, δεν διαφέρει από άλλα μοντέλα με ενσωματωμένες, τα οποία πιθανότατα να είναι καλύτερα στο θέμα σταθερότητας σήματος.
Αν γνώριζα από την αρχή πως ουσιαστικά πρόκειται περί συσκευής TP-Link θα είχα διαβάσει αυτά τα παράπονα που διαβάζω εκ των υστέρων στο διαδίκτυο περί συνεχών αποσυνδέσεων, τα οποία δυστυχώς είναι πάρα πολλά. Εφάρμοσα από το μενού ότι προτείνεται, όμως το πρόβλημα παραμένει.
Θα επικοινωνήσω με το τεχνικό τμήμα της εταιρίας μήπως γνωρίζουν κάτι παραπάνω ή για αντικατάσταση αν είναι θέμα της συγκεκριμένης συσκευής.

Με κάρτα onthego cosmote μετά τη πληκτρολόγηση και αφαίρεση του pin μέσα από το app, αναγνώρισε τη κάρτα αμέσως με το σωστό apn και έπαιξε..
Εντάξει μη φανταστείτε τίποτα γρήγορο για απλό cat4 4g router..
Είναι ανάλογα με τη κεραία της εκάστοτε περιοχής...
Η τιμή παρά πολύ καλή για αυτά που προσφέρει...

The purpose was to get internet with a mobile sim card (Vodafone) and connect the cameras I bought (Hikvision DS-2CV2Q21FD-IW(W) PN11677 IP, where I also have the corresponding review) to it via wifi, so that I always have remote access from my mobile.
I will not repeat details that have already been written. I will simply say that it connected immediately (network and cameras), the signal was always full, I did not notice any interruptions or other malfunctions, and additionally, surfing from mobile devices was also possible. The usage duration was about 3 weeks (that’s how long I needed it initially).
For its price (€45), I highly recommend it.
Σκοπός ήταν να πάρω internet με κάρτα sim κινητής (Vodafone) και να συνδέσω σε αυτό με wifi τις κάμερες που πήρα (Hikvision DS-2CV2Q21FD-IW(W) PN11677 IP όπου εκεί έχω και την αντίστοιχη αξιολόγηση), ώστε να έχω πάντα απομακρυσμένη πρόσβαση από το κινητό μου.
Δε θα επαναλάβω λεπτομέρειες που έχουν ήδη γραφτεί. Θα πω απλά ότι συνδέθηκε άμεσα (δίκτυο και κάμερες), το σήμα ήταν πάντα φουλ, δεν παρατήρησα ούτε διακοπές, ούτε άλλες δυσλειτουργίες, ενώ επιπρόσθετα γινόταν τελικά και surfing από κινητά. Η διάρκεια χρήσης του ήταν περίπου 3 εβδομάδες (τόσο το χρειάστηκα σε πρώτη φάση).
Για την τιμή του (45€) το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Guys, I don't want to give a bad review, the router does its job but not as I expected. I don't have a Wi-Fi connection at home, so I have to work with unlimited MB. I had a second phone until I got the router and I used to create a hotspot on my PC from it, but it broke, so I decided to get this one. What I want to say is that the phone was a 2016 model and had four times better speed on a 4G network than this one here. I don't understand why phones are better, but if you want my opinion, it's better to get a used phone and use it only for hotspot instead of getting a 4G router.
Παιδια δεν θελω να βαλω κακη κριτικη το router κανει την δουλεια του αλλα οχι οπως περιμενα. Δεν εχω wifi γραμμη στο σπιτι οποτε αναγκαζομαι να δουλευω με mb απεριοριστα. Ειχα ενα δευτερο κινητο μεχρι πριν παρω το Router και εκανα hotspot στο pc απο αυτο αλλα μου εσπασε οποτε ειπα να παρω αυτο εδω. Εκει που θελω να καταληξω ειναι οτι το κινητο ηταν μοντελο το 2016 4 φορες καλυτερη ταχυτητα σε 4g δυκτυο απο αυτο εδω. Δεν καταλαβαινω γιατι τα κινητα ειναι καλυετερα αλλα αν θελετε την δικη μου γνωμη καλυτερα να παρετε ενα μεταχειρισμενο κηνιτο και χρησημοποιηστε το μονο για hotspot παρα να παρετε 4γ ρουτερ.

Χρειάστηκε μόνο ένα τηλέφωνο στην Vodafone για να κάνουν εξ αποστάσεως μια ρύθμιση στην κάρτα internet sim. Μετά λειτούργησε αμέσως. Είναι σταθερό, δεν κάνει διακοπές. Η ταχύτητά του είναι λίγο πιο κάτω από την αντίστοιχη του ίντερνετ στο κινητό αλλά κάνει καλά τη δουλειά του. Το τέλειο είναι να αγοράσετε ρούτερ 5G αλλά κοστίζει πολλαπλάσια... Για την τιμή του είναι καλό.
Well, yesterday I got it on 5/6/24, automatically set up with Vodafone, and in Alimos where I live I saw speeds of up to 21Mbps download (updated on 8/6 almost 42Mbps), which is about the same as I get with other portable 4G routers I have when connected to the same place/spot. Of course, besides coverage, speed always depends on how 'heavy' the traffic is in the area at the given time of measurement (as seen from the 2 measurements with a big difference that I provide), while it is very common to see different speeds even from minute to minute. For example, in my village I have seen with another portable router with about the same speed as in Alimos, speeds of up to 65Mbps with even worse coverage, so everything is relative.
For those who have Nova, which seems not to work out-of-the-box, I believe you can definitely create a new profile with Nova's APN settings - I haven't tried it, but I consider it impossible not to have such an option.
Good menus and easy to use, while it also has a mode to work as a 'simple' wifi modem router, like the one we have at home. Of course, it would be better if it was 4G+ (up to 300Mbps theoretical speed limit instead of 150), but for its price you can't ask for more.
I see some people comparing 4G and 5G speeds, apples to oranges. 5G reaches up to 1Gbps, however the corresponding routers start from 250-300 euros. Anyone who wants such speeds has to pay for it. Since with 4G you can easily stream, I don't see any reason to spend so much money when the use of 4G speed is still perfectly satisfactory.
Finally, for me personally, the external antennas I installed made a significant difference. From 2 out of 3 bars it went to 3 out of 3, most of the time at least.
I will come back when I use it in other areas, but so far it proves to be a very honest purchase for its price.
Λοιπόν, χτες το πήρα 5/6/24, σεταρίστηκε αυτόματα με Vodafone, και στον Άλιμο που μένω είδα από 21Mbps download (upd. 8/6 σχεδόν 42Mbps) , όσο περίπου πιάνω και με άλλα φορητά 4G ρούτερ που έχω όταν συνδέονται στο ίδιο μέρος/σημείο. Φυσικά, στην ταχύτητα, πέρα της κάλυψης παίζει πάντα ρόλο το πόσο 'βαρύ' είναι το traffic στην περιοχή τη δεδομένη ώρα μέτρησης (φαίνεται και από τις 2 μετρήσεις με μεγάλη διαφορά που παραθέτω), ενώ είναι πολύ σύνηθες να βλέπεις διαφορετικές ταχύτητες ακόμα και από λεπτό σε λεπτό. Για παράδειγμα, στο χωρίο μου έχω δει με άλλο φορητό ρούτερ με περίπου ίδια ταχύτητα ατον Άλιμο, εκεί να παίζει έως 65Mbps με χειρότερη κάλυψη κιόλας, όποτε όλα σχετικά είναι.
Για όσους έχουν Nova, που φαίνεται πως δεν παίζει out-of-the-box, πιστεύω πως σίγουρα θα μπορείς να φτιάξεις ένα νέο προφίλ με τα APN settings της Nova - δε το'χω δοκιμάσει, αλλά θεωρώ αδύνατο να μην έχει τέτοια επιλογή.
Καλά τα μενού και εύκολα, ενώ έχει και mode να δουλέψει και ως 'απλό' wifi modem ρούτερ, δηλαδή όπως αυτό πού έχουμε στο σπίτι. Φυσικά θα ήταν καλύτερα αν ήταν 4G+ (μέχρι 300Mbps θεωρητικό όριο ταχύτητας αντί για 150), αλλά για τα λεφτά του δε μπορείς να ζητήσεις περισσότερα.
Βλέπω πως κάποιοι συγκρίνουν ταχύτητες 4G και 5G, μήλα με πορτοκάλια δηλαδή. To 5G πίανει έως και 1Gbps, όμως τα αντίστοιχα ρούτερ ξεκινούν απο 250-300 ευρώ. Όποιος θέλει τέτοιες ταχύτητες πρέπει να τα σκάσει. Εφόσον με 4G μπορείς να κάνεις άνετα streaming, δε βλέπω κανένα λόγο να δώσω τόσα χρήματα όταν η χρήση σε ταχύτητα 4G είναι ακόμα απολύτως ικανοποιητική.
Τέλος, για εμένα προσωπικά οι εξωτερικές κεραίες που έβαλα έκαναν αρκετή διαφορά. Από 2 στα 3 σήμα πήγε στα 3 στα 3, τις περισσότερες φορές τουλάχιστον.
Θα επανέλθω όταν το χρησιμοποιήσω και σε άλλες περιοχές, αλλά μέχρι στιγμής αποδεικνύεται μια πολύ τίμια αγορά για τα λεφτά του.
The little router was purchased for backup. I inserted a F2G sim card and after unlocking the sim and manually setting the APN, it worked immediately. Το ρουτερακι αγοράστηκε για backup. Του έβαλα μια sim F2G και αφού ξεκλείδωσε η σιμ και πέρασα APN χειροκίνητα έπαιξε αμέσως. Στο σημείο που είμαι (χωρίς εξωτερικές κεραίες)έπαιξε max 21down/18up. Πιστεύω με ΟΤΕ σε άλλο σημείο θα παίζει πολύ υψηλότερα. Πάρα πολύ καλο. Edit* Έπαιξε και με ote και όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο βαρεσε 40+ στο up.

With Cosmote sim card I get around 22 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload compared to my mobile which gets around 200 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload with 5G. It is located in a spot where it gets full signal. Otherwise, easy to connect.

This router is amazing. I read the reviews and bought it, and it really is fantastic. You just insert a Vodafone or Cosmote sim card and it works immediately. Besides that, the menu is very easy to navigate and you can set it to start counting data from a specific day and notify you on any phone you want, as long as the sim card you insert can send messages. You can also reset it whenever you want. The TP-Link does not have this function. It has a parental control feature which I did not explore because I do not have children. The signal is perfect, just like on a mobile phone. Maybe some others did not have a good signal in their neighborhood, but both networks have full signal in my house with walls. Of course, I live on the 3rd floor, closer to the terraces where the antennas are, which are quite close to the neighborhood. I highly recommend buying it, I purchased it on April 10, 2024. I have had the Cosmote TP-Link for 4 years with the internet on the go, but this one is 2/3 of the price and honestly better than the TP-Link, which is not as user-friendly in terms of menu. That's all.
Μιλάμε δεν υπάρχει αυτό το router. Διάβασα τις κριτικές και το πήρα και όντος είναι καταπληκτικό.
Βάζεις απλά την sim Vodafone και cosmote δοκίμασα και απλά παίζει κατευθείαν.
Εκτός από αυτό ψάχνοντας το μενού του που είναι πολύ εύκολο μπορείς να βάλεις εσυ από πια ημέρα να ξεκινήσει να μετράει τα δεδομένα και να σε ειδοποιεί επίσης σε οποίο τηλέφωνο θέλεις αρκεί η κάρτα που θα βάλεις να μπορεί να στέλνει μηνύματα. Και το μηδενίζεις εσυ όποτε θέλεις ξανά. Ενώ στο tp-link δεν έχει αυτή την λειτουργία.
Έχει για γονείς λειτουργία την οποία δεν έψαξα γιατί δεν έχω παιδιά.
Το σήμα τέλειο όπως και στο κινητό. Ίσως κάποιοι άλλοι να μην είχαν καλό σήμα στη Γειτονια τους.
Εμένα παντός και τα δυο δίκτυα έχουν φουλ σήμα και είναι μέσα στο σπίτι με τοίχους αλλά βέβαια είμαι ρετιρέ στον 3 όποτε πιο κοντά στις ταράτσες που είναι οι κεραίες που από ότι είδα είναι αρκετές κοντά στη Γειτονια.
Με κλειστά τα μάτια να το πάρετε μόλις το αγόρασα 10 Απριλίου 2024.
Έχω είδη της cosmote το t-p-link εδώ και 4 χρόνια που δίνει με το internet on the go αλλά αυτό είναι στα 2/3 της τιμής του ρόστερ και ειλικρινά πιο καλό από το tp-link που δεν είναι το εύχρηστο το μενού του.

It has already been working for 3 months in a village with poor 4G signal, placed near a balcony door on the upper floor at the best spot in the house in terms of signal (the ground floor barely gets signal in a few spots), with a FREE2GO card, it works very well and rarely will there be 2-3 minutes where it lags. Δουλεύει ήδη 3 μήνες σε χωριό με κακό σήμα 4G, τοποθετημένο κοντά σε μπαλκονόπορτα στον πάνω όροφο στο καλύτερο σημείο του σπιτιού από πλευράς σήματος (ο κάτω όροφος οριακά σε λίγα σημεία), με μια FREE2GO κάρτα, πάει πολύ καλά και σπάνια θα είναι 2-3 λεπτά που θα κωλώσει. Ταχύτητες 55-70down/10-15up σε γενικές γραμμές με τα κλασσικά σκαμπανεβάσματα του σήματος που κάνει η κινητή. Είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος και μακάρι να πάει έτσι σε βάθος χρόνου.

It is a very good solution for its price and its signal is quite decent even without external antennas as long as it faces a window as mentioned in the installation guide. I bought it to replace a Vodafone ZTE219t portable device because even though I was next to a mobile tower, it constantly lost signal, resulting in a tragic decrease in speeds or worse, complete disconnection. This required manual restarts, which were impossible remotely if I was on vacation, resulting in losing the cameras. The box has a TP-Link sticker indicating the relationship with the company. Its UI is also identical. Unfortunately, from the first moment I powered it on, although it is indeed plug and play and very easy to install, it exhibits the same problem to a much worse degree. It constantly loses signal. I suspect it is also a problem with the mobile company and the instability of the signal. The positive thing is that it performs an automatic restart, which lasts only a few seconds, so it is not an issue if you are away from the space. However, it remains annoying. If you are working on a computer and it suddenly closes your pages without warning, losing whatever you are doing at that moment, especially if you are on some platform, you will have to reconnect and resubmit everything from scratch. We are not even talking about watching a movie or listening to streaming. It is infuriating. The speeds are satisfactory for 4G, the same as the ZTE219, but in no case do they reach those of a mobile phone. The range and coverage within the house is somewhat less than that of the ZTE. Probably its internal antenna is not sufficient, but if external ones need to be purchased, then it would have been better to choose another device. This is because ultimately the price along with the purchase of antennas does not differ from other models with built-in ones, which are likely to be better in terms of signal stability. If I had known from the beginning that it was essentially a TP-Link device, I would have read these complaints that I am now reading online about constant disconnections, which unfortunately are very many. I applied everything recommended from the menu, but the problem remains. Το αγόρασα προς αντικατάσταση ενός φορητού Vodafone ZTE219t γιατί ενώ είμαι δίπλα σε κεραία κινητής, έχανε συνεχώς το σήμα, με αποτέλεσμα τραγική μείωση ταχυτήτων ή χειρότερα πλήρη αποσύνδεση. Αυτό απαιτούσε χειροκίνητες επανεκκινήσεις, που ήταν αδύνατο εξ αποστάσεως αν βρισκόμουν σε διακοπές, με συνέπεια να χάνω τις κάμερες.
Στο κουτί έχει αυτοκόλλητο TP-Link υποδεικνύοντας την σχέση με την εταιρία. Το UI του επίσης είναι πανομοιότυπο.
Δυστυχώς από την πρώτη στιγμή που το έβαλα σε λειτουργία, παρότι είναι όντως plug and play και πανεύκολο στην εγκατάσταση, παρουσιάζει το ίδιο πρόβλημα σε πολύ χειρότερο βαθμό. Χάνει συνεχώς το σήμα. Πιθανολογώ είναι και πρόβλημα της εταιρίας κινητής και της αστάθειας του σήματος. Το θετικό είναι πως κάνει αυτόματη επανεκκίνηση, που διαρκεί ελάχιστα δευτερόλεπτα, άρα δεν τίθεται θέμα αν απουσιάζεις από το χώρο. Δεν παύει όμως να είναι εκνευριστική. Αν εργάζεσαι σε υπολογιστή και σου κλείνει τις σελίδες ξαφνικά και απροειδοποίητα, χάνοντας ότι κάνεις εκείνη τη στιγμή, ειδικά αν είσαι σε κάποια πλατφόρμα, θα πρέπει να ξανά συνδεθείς και να υποβάλλεις τα πάντα εξ αρχής. Δεν συζητάμε για παρακολούθηση ταινίας ή ακρόαση streaming. Σπάει νεύρα.
Η ταχύτητες είναι ικανοποιητικές για 4G, ίδιες με το ΖΤΕ219, σε καμιά περίπτωση όμως δεν φτάνουν αυτές ενός κινητού.
Η εμβέλεια και κάλυψη εντός του χώρου του σπιτιού είναι κατά τι μικρότερη από αυτή του ΖΤΕ. Πιθανότατα η εσωτερική του κεραία δεν είναι επαρκής, όμως αν πρέπει να αγοραστούν εξωτερικές, τότε καλύτερα να είχε προτιμηθεί η αγορά άλλης συσκευής. Κι αυτό γιατί τελικά η τιμή μαζί με αγορά κεραιών, δεν διαφέρει από άλλα μοντέλα με ενσωματωμένες, τα οποία πιθανότατα να είναι καλύτερα στο θέμα σταθερότητας σήματος.
Αν γνώριζα από την αρχή πως ουσιαστικά πρόκειται περί συσκευής TP-Link θα είχα διαβάσει αυτά τα παράπονα που διαβάζω εκ των υστέρων στο διαδίκτυο περί συνεχών αποσυνδέσεων, τα οποία δυστυχώς είναι πάρα πολλά. Εφάρμοσα από το μενού ότι προτείνεται, όμως το πρόβλημα παραμένει.
Θα επικοινωνήσω με το τεχνικό τμήμα της εταιρίας μήπως γνωρίζουν κάτι παραπάνω ή για αντικατάσταση αν είναι θέμα της συγκεκριμένης συσκευής.

Θα πω απλά ότι συνδέθηκε άμεσα (δίκτυο και κάμερες), το σήμα ήταν πάντα φουλ, δεν παρατήρησα ούτε διακοπές, ούτε άλλες δυσλειτουργίες, ενώ επιπρόσθετα γινόταν τελικά και surfing από κινητά. Η διάρκεια χρήσης του ήταν περίπου 3 εβδομάδες (τόσο το χρειάστηκα σε πρώτη φάση).
Για την τιμή του (45€) το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Guys, I don't want to give a bad review, the router does its job but not as I expected. I don't have a Wi-Fi connection at home, so I have to work with unlimited MB. I had a second phone until I got the router and I used to create a hotspot on my PC from it, but it broke, so I decided to get this one. What I want to say is that the phone was a 2016 model and had four times better speed on a 4G network than this one here. I don't understand why phones are better, but if you want my opinion, it's better to get a used phone and use it only for hotspot instead of getting a 4G router.
Παιδια δεν θελω να βαλω κακη κριτικη το router κανει την δουλεια του αλλα οχι οπως περιμενα. Δεν εχω wifi γραμμη στο σπιτι οποτε αναγκαζομαι να δουλευω με mb απεριοριστα. Ειχα ενα δευτερο κινητο μεχρι πριν παρω το Router και εκανα hotspot στο pc απο αυτο αλλα μου εσπασε οποτε ειπα να παρω αυτο εδω. Εκει που θελω να καταληξω ειναι οτι το κινητο ηταν μοντελο το 2016 4 φορες καλυτερη ταχυτητα σε 4g δυκτυο απο αυτο εδω. Δεν καταλαβαινω γιατι τα κινητα ειναι καλυετερα αλλα αν θελετε την δικη μου γνωμη καλυτερα να παρετε ενα μεταχειρισμενο κηνιτο και χρησημοποιηστε το μονο για hotspot παρα να παρετε 4γ ρουτερ.
It only took one phone call to Vodafone to remotely configure the internet sim card. After that, it worked immediately. It is stable and does not have interruptions. Its speed is slightly lower than the corresponding mobile internet, but it does its job well. The perfect thing would be to buy a 5G router, but it costs multiple times more... For its price, it is good.
Χρειάστηκε μόνο ένα τηλέφωνο στην Vodafone για να κάνουν εξ αποστάσεως μια ρύθμιση στην κάρτα internet sim. Μετά λειτούργησε αμέσως. Είναι σταθερό, δεν κάνει διακοπές. Η ταχύτητά του είναι λίγο πιο κάτω από την αντίστοιχη του ίντερνετ στο κινητό αλλά κάνει καλά τη δουλειά του. Το τέλειο είναι να αγοράσετε ρούτερ 5G αλλά κοστίζει πολλαπλάσια... Για την τιμή του είναι καλό.
Well, yesterday I got it on 5/6/24, automatically set up with Vodafone, and in Alimos where I live I saw speeds of up to 21Mbps download (updated on 8/6 almost 42Mbps), which is about the same as I get with other portable 4G routers I have when connected to the same place/spot. Of course, besides coverage, speed always depends on how 'heavy' the traffic is in the area at the given time of measurement (as seen from the 2 measurements with a big difference that I provide), while it is very common to see different speeds even from minute to minute. For example, in my village I have seen with another portable router with about the same speed as in Alimos, speeds of up to 65Mbps with even worse coverage, so everything is relative.
For those who have Nova, which seems not to work out-of-the-box, I believe you can definitely create a new profile with Nova's APN settings - I haven't tried it, but I consider it impossible not to have such an option.
Good menus and easy to use, while it also has a mode to work as a 'simple' wifi modem router, like the one we have at home. Of course, it would be better if it was 4G+ (up to 300Mbps theoretical speed limit instead of 150), but for its price you can't ask for more.
I see some people comparing 4G and 5G speeds, apples to oranges. 5G reaches up to 1Gbps, however the corresponding routers start from 250-300 euros. Anyone who wants such speeds has to pay for it. Since with 4G you can easily stream, I don't see any reason to spend so much money when the use of 4G speed is still perfectly satisfactory.
Finally, for me personally, the external antennas I installed made a significant difference. From 2 out of 3 bars it went to 3 out of 3, most of the time at least.
I will come back when I use it in other areas, but so far it proves to be a very honest purchase for its price.
Λοιπόν, χτες το πήρα 5/6/24, σεταρίστηκε αυτόματα με Vodafone, και στον Άλιμο που μένω είδα από 21Mbps download (upd. 8/6 σχεδόν 42Mbps) , όσο περίπου πιάνω και με άλλα φορητά 4G ρούτερ που έχω όταν συνδέονται στο ίδιο μέρος/σημείο. Φυσικά, στην ταχύτητα, πέρα της κάλυψης παίζει πάντα ρόλο το πόσο 'βαρύ' είναι το traffic στην περιοχή τη δεδομένη ώρα μέτρησης (φαίνεται και από τις 2 μετρήσεις με μεγάλη διαφορά που παραθέτω), ενώ είναι πολύ σύνηθες να βλέπεις διαφορετικές ταχύτητες ακόμα και από λεπτό σε λεπτό. Για παράδειγμα, στο χωρίο μου έχω δει με άλλο φορητό ρούτερ με περίπου ίδια ταχύτητα ατον Άλιμο, εκεί να παίζει έως 65Mbps με χειρότερη κάλυψη κιόλας, όποτε όλα σχετικά είναι.
Για όσους έχουν Nova, που φαίνεται πως δεν παίζει out-of-the-box, πιστεύω πως σίγουρα θα μπορείς να φτιάξεις ένα νέο προφίλ με τα APN settings της Nova - δε το'χω δοκιμάσει, αλλά θεωρώ αδύνατο να μην έχει τέτοια επιλογή.
Καλά τα μενού και εύκολα, ενώ έχει και mode να δουλέψει και ως 'απλό' wifi modem ρούτερ, δηλαδή όπως αυτό πού έχουμε στο σπίτι. Φυσικά θα ήταν καλύτερα αν ήταν 4G+ (μέχρι 300Mbps θεωρητικό όριο ταχύτητας αντί για 150), αλλά για τα λεφτά του δε μπορείς να ζητήσεις περισσότερα.
Βλέπω πως κάποιοι συγκρίνουν ταχύτητες 4G και 5G, μήλα με πορτοκάλια δηλαδή. To 5G πίανει έως και 1Gbps, όμως τα αντίστοιχα ρούτερ ξεκινούν απο 250-300 ευρώ. Όποιος θέλει τέτοιες ταχύτητες πρέπει να τα σκάσει. Εφόσον με 4G μπορείς να κάνεις άνετα streaming, δε βλέπω κανένα λόγο να δώσω τόσα χρήματα όταν η χρήση σε ταχύτητα 4G είναι ακόμα απολύτως ικανοποιητική.
Τέλος, για εμένα προσωπικά οι εξωτερικές κεραίες που έβαλα έκαναν αρκετή διαφορά. Από 2 στα 3 σήμα πήγε στα 3 στα 3, τις περισσότερες φορές τουλάχιστον.
Θα επανέλθω όταν το χρησιμοποιήσω και σε άλλες περιοχές, αλλά μέχρι στιγμής αποδεικνύεται μια πολύ τίμια αγορά για τα λεφτά του.
The little router was purchased for backup. I inserted a F2G sim card and after unlocking the sim and manually setting the APN, it worked immediately. In the area where I am (without external antennas), it reached a maximum speed of 21 Mbps download and 18 Mbps upload. I believe with OTE in another location it will perform much higher. Very good. Edit* It also worked with OTE and as expected, it hit 40+ Mbps upload speed.
Το ρουτερακι αγοράστηκε για backup. Του έβαλα μια sim F2G και αφού ξεκλείδωσε η σιμ και πέρασα APN χειροκίνητα έπαιξε αμέσως. Στο σημείο που είμαι (χωρίς εξωτερικές κεραίες)έπαιξε max 21down/18up. Πιστεύω με ΟΤΕ σε άλλο σημείο θα παίζει πολύ υψηλότερα. Πάρα πολύ καλο. Edit* Έπαιξε και με ote και όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο βαρεσε 40+ στο up.
With Vodafone sim, installation is very easy. The only negative aspect is the relatively low speeds, but even with a weak 4g signal, it plays very consistently. I am considering adding an external antenna because the area is very problematic, so if I do, I will come back with impressions.

Μόνο αρνητικό οι σχετικά χαμηλές ταχύτητες, αλλά ακόμα και με χαμηλό σήμα 4g, παίζει πολύ σταθερά.
Σκέφτομαι να προσθέσω εξωτερική κεραία, γιατί η περιοχή είναι πολύ προβληματική, οπότε αν βάλω θα επανέλθω για εντυπώσεις.
With Cosmote sim card I get around 22 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload compared to my mobile which gets around 200 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload with 5G. It is located in a spot where it gets full signal. Otherwise, easy to connect.

This router is amazing. I read the reviews and bought it, and it really is fantastic. You just insert a Vodafone or Cosmote sim card and it works immediately. Besides that, the menu is very easy to navigate and you can set it to start counting data from a specific day and notify you on any phone you want, as long as the sim card you insert can send messages. You can also reset it whenever you want. The TP-Link does not have this function. It has a parental control feature which I did not explore because I do not have children. The signal is perfect, just like on a mobile phone. Maybe some others did not have a good signal in their neighborhood, but both networks have full signal in my house with walls. Of course, I live on the 3rd floor, closer to the terraces where the antennas are, which are quite close to the neighborhood. I highly recommend buying it, I purchased it on April 10, 2024. I have had the Cosmote TP-Link for 4 years with the internet on the go, but this one is 2/3 of the price and honestly better than the TP-Link, which is not as user-friendly in terms of menu. That's all.
Μιλάμε δεν υπάρχει αυτό το router. Διάβασα τις κριτικές και το πήρα και όντος είναι καταπληκτικό.
Βάζεις απλά την sim Vodafone και cosmote δοκίμασα και απλά παίζει κατευθείαν.
Εκτός από αυτό ψάχνοντας το μενού του που είναι πολύ εύκολο μπορείς να βάλεις εσυ από πια ημέρα να ξεκινήσει να μετράει τα δεδομένα και να σε ειδοποιεί επίσης σε οποίο τηλέφωνο θέλεις αρκεί η κάρτα που θα βάλεις να μπορεί να στέλνει μηνύματα. Και το μηδενίζεις εσυ όποτε θέλεις ξανά. Ενώ στο tp-link δεν έχει αυτή την λειτουργία.
Έχει για γονείς λειτουργία την οποία δεν έψαξα γιατί δεν έχω παιδιά.
Το σήμα τέλειο όπως και στο κινητό. Ίσως κάποιοι άλλοι να μην είχαν καλό σήμα στη Γειτονια τους.
Εμένα παντός και τα δυο δίκτυα έχουν φουλ σήμα και είναι μέσα στο σπίτι με τοίχους αλλά βέβαια είμαι ρετιρέ στον 3 όποτε πιο κοντά στις ταράτσες που είναι οι κεραίες που από ότι είδα είναι αρκετές κοντά στη Γειτονια.
Με κλειστά τα μάτια να το πάρετε μόλις το αγόρασα 10 Απριλίου 2024.
Έχω είδη της cosmote το t-p-link εδώ και 4 χρόνια που δίνει με το internet on the go αλλά αυτό είναι στα 2/3 της τιμής του ρόστερ και ειλικρινά πιο καλό από το tp-link που δεν είναι το εύχρηστο το μενού του.

I encountered a connection problem, but I have a Nova SIM internet card. In the comments now, I read that someone else with a Nova card also couldn't connect. Neither could I connect... In a few days, I will have a Vodafone SIM internet to see if anything changes... I will come back!
Αντιμετώπισα προβλημα συνδεσης , αλλα εχω καρτα nova sim internet , στα σχολια τωρα διαβασα οτι και άλλος δεν συνδεθηκε που εχει καρτα nova .. ουτε εγω συνδέθηκα ... σε λιγες μερες θα έχω vodafone sim internet να δω αν αλλαξει κατι ... θα επανέλθω !
Purchased for 27.90 with a Cosmote card, it works perfectly without needing any additional settings. The operating system is identical to TP Link. It is an excellent purchase considering its value, as it is one of the cheapest LTE routers available

Installed in a mountain village, with signal difficulties. It works much faster than the terrestrial 24Mbps OTE line. Cheap and easy to install. The installation through the program is slightly complicated for simple users.
Τοποθετηθηκε σε ορεινο χωριο, με δυσκολιες στο σημα. Δουλευει πολυ γρηγοροτερα απο την επιγεια 24αρα γραμμη του ΟΤΕ. Φθηνο και ευκολο στην τοποθετηση. Η εγκατασταση μεσω του προγραμματος ειναι ελαφρως πολυπλοκη για απλους χρηστες.
For the country house, it's just fine. Scheduled reset or remote and very easy installation in the app. Works easily with Cosmote without extra settings

One extra star only for the price. Its operation is unacceptable because there are several disconnections during the day and sometimes it only comes back with a hard reset.
ενα αστέρι παραπάνω μονο και μονο για την τιμή. η λειτουργια του ειναι απαραδεκτη για το λογω οτι υπαρχουν αποσυνδέσεις αρκετές στην διάρκεια της μέρας και καποιες φορές μονο με hard reset επανέρχεται.
