One of the first narrative-driven, action-adventure anime games for VR, The Tale of Onogoro invites players to a magical world filled with puzzles, adventure, and battles in a VR steampunk game.

Inspired by Japanese folklore, this uniquely Japanese VR action-adventure throws you into a beautiful and immersive anime world. You control an unnamed deity who has just been summoned to the island of Onogoro by a Japanese priestess named Haru.

The player travels with Haru and must protect her at all costs, solving puzzles and acting against giant beasts.

Intense Battles

As you explore the island of Onogoro, you engage in battles against Kami, giant creatures in action-packed fights, trying to cleanse the island of all evils. In these intense battles, you use your celestial weapons and Haru's priestess powers to subdue the Kami. Together, you will discover how to tame each of the giant "Kami."

Unique VR Puzzles

Players will need to assist Haru in solving various puzzles of different difficulties. Cooperation is key, as some items can only be used by one of you!

    The game is a combination of Portal and Shadow of the Colossus, as you use various objects and abilities to manipulate the environment and overcome obstacles. I'm not a big fan of the genre, but I can say that this case kept me engaged.
