I bought it having expectations from the good reviews. It may be effective for bruises/swelling, bumps (I haven't tried it) but for muscle pain it does nothing for me. That is, for immediate relief of muscle pain, I think other products - especially warming ones - are much more suitable. I find its scent neutral, neither bad nor nice. Also, it does not cause any sensation of ice or heat.

Incredibly effective on bruises. If you apply it immediately to the area you hit, there is no swelling, no bruise, no pain. If the impact is small, it's like you didn't get hit at all. If it's bigger, it helps tremendously.
I have also tried it on a minor burn, also very effective, especially if applied immediately.
It is the most effective -medically- product I have ever used!

The best arnica! It doesn't have a pleasant scent for me, but with 3.5 days of use (half because on the 4th day I only applied it in the morning), a large swelling that I had completely disappeared. Other arnica gels that I have tried were not as effective.
