The Audiolab 7000CDT CD transport plays CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs, as well as MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV files from USB storage devices. Its optical reading mechanism works with a digital buffer to minimise errors, while the isolated power supply limits signal interference. The 2.8″ colour IPS LCD has adjustable brightness.

The USB Type-A port supports FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32 file systems. Digital outputs include coaxial and optical connections. The unit can be switched on automatically via a 12 V trigger and features an auto-standby function that can be enabled or disabled.
